Semi auto 20 gauge

My usual reply :), Benelli Montefeltro or Ultra Light. The Monte is one of the nicest upland guns I've handled.

If an auto is what your looking for don't rule out a used beretta AL390. Problem is no one wants to part with theirs.
Winchester model 1400 is a nice 20 gauge semi auto.

The last Canadian dealer I asked when he could get them in and he did not believe me that they had brought it out. I told him it was a Shot Show release and he said no it wasn't I was there. Well check out Winchester guns for your self.

A brand new Urika II should be around $1650 seen the price tag yesterday, but great feeling gun. But I would take a look at that SX3.

A good used semi, for upland means you don't need a magnum gun, nor even screw-in chokes. Imp Cyl would likely do all that you need. I'd look for a Rem. 1100 (or 11-87 if it pops up) or a Winchester 1400, with a 26" or 28" IC barrel if you can find it, but other fixed chokes can be opened up cheaply.

A Browning A5, as nice as they are, is a heavy gun. Too heavy for upland work, IMO. And the more versatile and modern the gun, the pricier it will be (i.e. 3" chambers, choke tubes). Very few hunters want to be 'limited' by a 2-3/4" chamber and a fixed choke in a gun that can't handle steel, so these guns sell for less.

Hmm...

Have you considered a Mossberg SA-20? Bought one last year for a fun toy. It's nearly identical to my H&R Excell Auto except in 20 gauge.

I've owned my Excell for 3 years; I have never cleaned it, and it's never failed! Pretty darn good for a beat around semi-auto! Haven't put nearly as many rounds through the SA-20 as I have through the Excell, but its still holding up great so far.

w.w.w.
