I think the majority is shooting SSP class but what equipment are you using, firearm and holster....

M&P-Glocks -XD's lets hear it.

Myself you guessed it, a G17 with a bladetech holster.

I am also shooting SSP with G-17 & 19 but using either a Blackhawk CERPA or Fobus holster. Occasionally a G-21SF and a Bladetech holster.

SSP - CZ 85 Combat, M&P 9MM, CZ Shadow, CZ SP-01
ESP - Tanfoglio Model "L" in .40cal/9MM, STI Trojan 9MM
CDP - Norinco/Dlask Custom 1911 5"
ESR - S&W 625-2 5"
SSR - S&W K 38 6"

All of the above out of Blade Tech holsters

I intend to spend most of the year shooting SSP using my CZ 85 Combat.

Zeb the XDM series of pistols are considered SA and therefore play in ESP.

Currently I'm using a Sig 226 Elite in 9mm with a Serpa holster. I just got a Nork 1911 and am thinkin about using that as my main rig but we'll see how well I shoot with it first.

Canuck 44. you use a CZ Shadow for SSP? I was about to ask that question. My club has decided to go to IDPA, but I was checking the IDPA rules and it looked like the CZ Shadow was too heavy for SSP (would switch out the extended mag release), and the ESP said no full length dust cover. Does anyone else use the Shadow in IDPA?

In order to shoot the Shadow in IDPA in any division it must make weight for SSP ie 39oz. I achieved this by installing Dennis Marshal thin grips that weigh .4 oz and by replacing the mag break with an aluminum one meant for the CZ 75B. Gun with 10 rd mags now weighs exactly 39 oz. The mag release on the Shadow is just fine.

A stock Shadow is to heavy for IDPA. Replacing the grips and the mag break with a CZ 75B part is legal and the gun will make weight with these changes.

I thought that IDPA was for stock pistols? I am looking at getting into IDPA mainly in part because IPSC is an "arms race" where the competition lies with how much $$$$ you have to trick out your gun or buy the best possible/newest lead thrower. These 'mods" to the CZ seem to be the first step down a slippery slope...

I was looking forward to taking my "stock, plain jane" P99 and at least not feeling the pauper or out of place.
