all the #1's are single shot right ? and if so why would you want only one shot? i'm just getting into bolt actions/ breech fed .

A single shot rifle implies proficiency and class. It's a maturity thing.

As far as I can tell about 20 ordered in Australia and thats only by talk on one forum and talking to a big dealer in Melbourne only, if advertised in gun mags. it would be a lot more as a lot of shooters are in the dark on this .303B from Ruger.

Yup, once guys have em for a week or so, there will be a bunch of #1's in .303 British up on the EE.
