Wow, I just have to post this. On March 5 I sent a scope off VX11 for service to Korth in Okotoks(the magnification knob was hard to turn). I got it back today March 15 working perfect, they 'only' completed an Internal inspection, reworked system and selector, recollimated, performed mechanical inspection and refilled/water tested. 10 days total including shipping. I normally don't sing a manufactures praises but this has to be done. Excellent Job Folks. I am a diehard NF fan and really like European Optics but from now on will be buying Leupold simply for the warranty. Shocked me.

If you are shopping for an optic and find something comparable in price buy Leupold simply for the warranty, I have heard the stories before and finally experienced it for myself.
 
Yep. Leupy has excellent warranty service. Though, for the price a Leupy costs in Kanada, you could almost buy two comparable scopes, and just throw one of them away when it broke. :(
 
They replaced my RXII rangefinder that was long out of warranty. Gave me a NIB unit that is supposed to be free of the issues the original unit had.

Cost me nothing more than the postage to Alta!!
 
I had a VXII with a stiff magnification ring and the turn around time was very fast also. They went right through the scope too.
 
Any one else send theirs back for a stiff magnification ring?? Sorry about varying from thread, I've had tremendous service as well. Stiff ring back to my door in 9 days.

exactly why I sent mine in, couldn't turn it at all.

for those bragging about buying a used one and sending it in for a 'free' checkover before even mounting it, that is exactly the kind of talk that could one day cause Leupold to reconsider their comprehensive warranty. If you are going to do it do it just don't brag to the world you are abusing a system that wasn't meant to be abused.
 
They have good service and responded to my inquiries quick. There seems to be a problem for them getting parts from Leupold....Ive had a scope there since December...Not Korth's fault, I just don't want people to think that any problem will be fixed in 10 days .

I bet the LR/T or any of their tactical line would have a much longer turn around time if parts were needed. Thanks again to department of homeland security.
