Bass Pro handgun ammo

Just went to bass pro today and I just found out they're selling handgun ammo. Good variety and almost everything was in stock. Also they have hollow points for sale too. Though I'd give you guys a heads up for anyone who hasn't been there in a bit

I thought part of the basspro agreement was that they don't retail anything handgun related? :confused:

This is good news!

You know if they have any 9mm HP +Ps ?
 
Funny, I went there about 2 weeks ago asking for ammo and the guy at the gun counter said "we do not sell any handgun ammo and we wont be in the future either".:rolleyes:

By the way how are the prices?

Yeah the employee helping me out said they JUST got it in and I was told the same thing about the lack of any handgun ammo being stocked last time I went. Imagine the surprise on my face when I saw all of the new stock.

I didnt look at all the prices but I got a box of winchester .40 FMJ rounds and a box of .40 JHP. The FMJ`s were$ 21.49 and the hollow points were $28.99.

These are apparently exclusive to Bass Pro.

10 Boxes of PDX1 in 9mm

and the chain brand in 9mm, .40 and .45.

A few boxes of win clean in .40.

It's not "handgun" ammo as such thing doesn't really exist... (.22LR ammo is a perfect example), so it is "rifle" ammo that sometimes fits some handguns...
 
that is very good news, my local neighbourhood lebaron is pathetic with their handgun ammo stocking...i think its worth a drive to check it out
 
Thanks for the heads up on ammo. I'm amazed how their reloading department had progressed in a month or so, from bare shelves to a well-stocked couple of isles.
