first 2 things you should do to improve your sks

Ok, in your opinion what are the first 2 things you should do to improve your SKS?

I found this pic on another forum and want mine to look similar

Clean it, then deal with any corrosion and wear.

Sporterize?

Cut it up and replace everything to AR style. Rails everywhere.

Most people opt for a scope. Either a side mounted one onto the receiver, or get a new dust cover that fits extremely tightly and mount a scope on that.

2 - start with a crate, shoot, and pick up some gunzilla to clean it with, and don't forget that gas system!

id say, improve the sights, and maybe add a pistol grip stock.

ive yet to hear good things about those duckbill mags, and it has to be neutered to 5 so i wouldnt bother with it.

she is meant to be loaded from the top, unless its an sks D.

other than that, just shoot the heck out of it!
