my "new" TT-33

(Yeah my camera sux- I know.) It's a 1947 Izhevsk refurb with second pattern slide, great condition finish and excellent bore. Needs a good cleaning though- the grease looks purplish thanks to my sadCam. Bought it from a site supporting dealer, Badger Arms Supply. It was well packaged and promptly shipped and well supported. Communication was great- a treat to deal with Armand and Barb. Can't wait to clean it out and take it to the range.

Will do. I really should invest in a better camera. It has major issues with low light and trying to focus in for closeup/macro shots. Oh well- it was cheap.

Yeah, i think they changed the design in '46 to save one machining step.

I bought my ammo before I had the pistol! HACS gun shows for me, 10 boxes. Or some places like Westley Surplus in
New West have had some in the past and may be bringing in more.

Finally got around to cleaning out the cosmo/grease. My camera is
still not doing this pistol any justice. *sigh*

Well, even if they don't, I was pondering buying some 7.62x25mm brass
and reloading my own. On the plus side, using commercial primers/powders
I wouldn't have to clean it right away as with surplus ammo.
