i like it, but how comfortable is the cheek weld with the straight stock??

Super comfortable, with the comp m4s with no riser this is for me a perfect set-up. And with the straight stock no comparaison of muzzle flip, i can now do some double tap !

I also have the M4s but with the OEM rear fiber stock.

I have been thinking hard about an AR stock adapter and putting a magpul stock on.

I think your build has convinced me to purchase another NEA product, the new lower hand guard but without any rails. I might have to get a new upper hand guard too to match the finishes.

How strong, or stable is the rauch stock adapter? How much extra weight could it withstand if you had to lean against it or use it for a purpose other than originally designed?

The rauch tactical m4 adapter is very stable and easy to install. You have a 4 choice positions with this adapter but if you put a ar-15 stock better to be inline with the barrel. I have past one crate of bullets last week and no problem with the setup.

With the compm4s and all the mod the rifle weight 8.5 lbs. This is a bit heavy in the front but i can take this inconvenience.

Do you like your compm4s ?

I think this is a deadliest setup in the 25 yards to 200 yards range.
The target acquisition is so quick and i like to shot the two eyes open.
In the 200 meters range i can hit Zombie all day long :)
I can't wait to try this at deer this year !

So you have a good cheek weld with the inline stock and red dot?

I absolutely love my Compm4s. I had some issues initially in regards to the hand rail, which Charles Martel of NEA helped me sort out.

Once I got the m4s dialed in... I wouldn't want to go back to iron sites. Just as you say, target acquisition and follow up shots are incredibly fast. Shooting with both eyes open is vary natural to me so it just works wonders.

I have left my aimpoint on since I bought it... I think I'll just put a new battery in it every year and never worry about it!

I'm in love with your setup though, I really like the CTR on the back end, and the newest NEA lower hand guard... It's getting hard to choose between another crate or two of ammo or more parts for the rifle and waiting for the next time I can spend money before I can shoot.

Just got her back from the Rauch treatment, reassembled, and dressed for the range:

She will be going to the great gopher fields in Sask. this August, I can't wait.

That looks awesome!

Details! Who makes the fake can? What barrel length do you have under there?
