I've been using a cart for Cowboy action & 3 gun matches now for 12 years. I'm on my 3rd now, one called the "riksha" built in calgary and it's the best and easiest over "rough" terrain matches

The problem with a lot of these carts is they carry the firearms in a position to sweep the operator or bystanders.

One reason I like the garden cart conversion - nice and simple and safe.

4 wheel cart by far the best way to go.

Never sweep yourself or another shooter
In soft or loose material pulling a 4 wheeler is far easier than pushing a 2 wheeler

I would sugest putting the guns on the front rather than the back as the weight of them holds the front wheels down when you pull on the handle. The way 667 has his unless the front is loaded down with a lot of ammo or other stuff it can overcentre backwards
I have the same wagon and because of the uneven groung I have to pull mine over I had to also extend the rear axles with 4" removable extensions on each side so that the wheel stance is outside the widest part of the gun rack (20 min job with 2 pieces of pipe with the same i.d. as the axle shaft and a couple of slip pins).

I prefer the KISS method (Keep It Simple Stupid). One that holds the guns nicely and provides ample area for your other needs. I like the 4 wheeled one pictured, but might be harder for a guy who just has a car. Also for Cowboy Action, its nicer to have something that "looks" the part too I think. The ones I build are out of wood, going to be coming out with a DIY kit soon, and they can fit in a smaller car too. They generally will accommodate two shooters with SXS, match rifle and a side match rifle for each shooter, with a spot or two to spare. Great for the Pa and Son team like me.

Rachel had a three wheel jogger type stroller at the Frontenac match, it seemed to work quite well and was narrow enough to bring it into the indoor range.

Similar to this one, $200 at Canadian Tire.

Handy for air travel because it is more likely to be allowed through security and dropped off / picked up at the gate. They might ask about the baby it is supposed to carry but you could be meeting another person who is bringing the baby...

You can buy add ons from Rugged Gear (bullet tray, shot gun and rifle mounts etc) that would turn it into a decent 3 gun cart. It only makes sense to me to do that if you already have a stroller...or buy a used one. For about the same money as a new one (maybe a bit more)...you can get a cart from RG that's built from the ground up specifically for firearms...

If you visualize 667's wagon with the wheels and handle off (pull 5 slip pins and thier off) and the gun rack is made to folded down inside the framework--thats how much room mine takes to transport. Smaller space required than most teardown carts need. The gun rack and storage comp. is made of wood and finnished to fit the Cowboy look.

For transport yes... The handle comes off as does the gun rack... I leave the wheels on though as I have the space available in my vehicle...

Here is my solution from Canadian Tire.

And IPSC-Inside...

Father's Day present...
Gun case, cleaning kit, ammo, chair, and under the case, a cooler for cold drinks etc. Plus room for other assorted things.

I looked into this one: http://www.eckla.de/english/multirolly.html but it was too pricey, shipping was another 75 Euro's.
I'm using a folding cart that will hold the range bag, and will have my chair strapped to it. Now still looking for one of those goofy umbrella's that attach to the chair.

Sure like fbimagery's unit best though. :)
