Bought some powder a Cabelas in Winnipeg the other day, cashier asked me to fill out a piece of paper with my address and name, said it was natural resources requirement for powder/ primer purchases? No ID check so I just filled in old address and BS name. Is this some sort of new BS rule?:jerkit:

Consider yourself lucky they had what you need in stock. Yeah, what a crock. They asked me the same at the competition. I notice the log book has few entries. I guess not all staff knows / remembers to ask.

Hmmm Ben Stolen was the last name I used !
Crappy Tire in North Vancouver has a log book that the clerk writes in.
They attempted to copy my PAL info , but when he/she ( forget now ) for my D L

OOps, I mean Ben Stolen !!!

I always sign Jack Meoff.

Don't laugh too hard, but when I was a youinger fella doing mailorder for Russels Sports I had a notion that the boys were trying to pull a fast one on me with a phone call by a fella named Jacob (Jake) Mehoff. The guy nearly tore my ear off after I hung up on him the second time, and gave me an order, a PO Box number, and a Visa that was good. Put it all together, and shipped it off to Dildo, NFLD. The big ticket items: wax lube and abrasive bore cream for his black powder. Poor Newf, I felt pretty bad for the guy.
Best thing was the boss's dad came after me for trying to play a joke on him with the order in accounting.
Anyone here know Jake from Dildo?

I was there 2 weeks ago and bought 3 pounds of powder, and a brick of magnum rifle primers. No questions, no log book. They just took my money and thanked me for the purchase.

Wierd!

From 87 - 97 I worked for LeBaron's and we had to keep track of all powder sales....in the 10 years there no one ever came by to to see our logs.
No I.D. required so like most have said here all fake names.... why bother???
