Lots of .22 conversions/semi's out there...but .22mags are hard to come by.

but then you have a cookie cutter 10/22...not a VZ-58. a non restricted VZ shorty with full cap mags would be nearly as tempting as this calendar it comes with. I wonder what the "F" on Miss October stands for....

The idea of the VZ/CZ 22 conversion is a very good one, all the negative comments aside. It would be a great idea, the "real" firearm, able to be shot anywhere and being able to use normal capacity magazines.

Can't see that a .22 conversion would be cost effective. What kind of $ are we takin' 'bout? Millions of AR's and 1911's. still expensive. Limited CZ 858's....I'd think the cost would be astronomical.

A gas operated .22RF? Guess it works for the .22 AR uppers but a piston?

22LR AR's do not use the gas system on the AR at all.

In posts 2 and 3 all I wanted to do was to bug Charles Martel.
In post 7, I answered somebody's question
and I wanted to open their eyes about the benefits of a rimfire VZ
(normal capacity mags and non-rest short barrels).

I have to say here that I have absolutely nothing to do
with this project and design.
Everything in the OP is Charles Martel's.

we would be milling a whole new reciever. No VZ's would be hurt or injured in the process.
