A new arrival from P and D...

So, saw the posting for the mini-14- wood or synth stock mini-14s
Hm...sold out of synth stocks... hmm...

So, not too long later, a parcel arrived at my door...

I opened it- and found a .... Ruger box!

Inside the Ruger box, wrapped in swaddling clothes was... a Ruger!

And here it is!

185### s/n Mini-14. It'll never be a tack driver, but it sure is lovely!

honestly i think the wood stocks look better on them anyway.
you can pick up synthetic stocks for the Minis all over the place though. if thats really what you prefer, just EE your wood stock before it gets all dinged up and order an aftermarket stock for it. the Hogues are pretty decent.

At $595 for a stainless wood stocked mini14, I would of bought one if I had the funds & heard about it sooner.

I think someone has them in the EE for a bit more- but if tax is included, pretty well the same price.
