Glock, Glock, and Ruger .357 SA Revolver with a 9mm cylinder!
PX4 Storm. It beat out the Glock when the CBSA was looking for a handgun to issue. (And this is coming from an avid Glock fan).
HK's? They are probably the worst handguns against sand and mud you can get. Don't get me wrong! I own a P30L and I love it! But would I bring it to any sand box? Never. Same goes for all the USP etc... Slide rails are too small to run good with dirt in them. Real good pistols for cold conditions perhaps. And super reliable and well made of course but not against sand.
My vote would go to SIG p226 ( double action capable ). Friends of mine up there told me how perfect this gun was under any conditions. Then right behind I vote for the Glock 17 indeed.
Cheers.

A Glock was not tested with CBSA as it did not have a pistol that met the basic criteria. The M&P failed the drop test.
HKs are my favorite.
