dlask AR s

Like what?? A little too open ended :).

Bad barrels. Mags not fitting. Coating uneven / to thick causing LPK's not to fit without 'work'........

The barrels are sh*t....... Dlask barrels are inconsistent, you may never really know what your chamber dimensions are and it is hit and miss on the use of straight pins or roll pins, the profiles are not correct either.

I have never bought a Dlask upper -- I looked at one in a shop and decided I'd stick to my other stuff...

..... Their anodizing was too thick in some areas and needed work in 6 I saw to get the LPK's to fit.....

Most issues were early issues.....but... the impression was made and I would never consider buying one.

I currently own a 7.5" Dlask CQB AR. IMO its well made and fit/finish is primo.
I have had no issues with it so far and you gotta love the Maple Leaf stamping.
I once owned a 8.5" Rem/Dlask shottie that was also nice.
Personally, I wouldn't hesitate in dealing with Josef/Dlask in the future.

I bought a 7.5" mini-moose upper from Dlask. Great service from those guys. I m planning on getting them to build my next AR upper when I decide to get back into the game.

I have a couple Dlask lower that are top drawer, also have 2 Dlask short barreled 870's that are great. They are in the process of building a colt Python barrel for me now. No negative experiences here! Phil

Myself and people I know have had issues with Dlask AR's.

Bad finishes, missing gas ports, barrels drilled the wrong size, poor communication out of spec pin sizing and very late shipments have been common complaints. If you do a search you will find many threads.

As always some people have been very happy with them.

YMMV but I wouldn't buy one.

I've got a AR Lower that was great and a some 10/22 reciever and barrels that are better than anything else I've come across. Plus you can talk to the man so if you want something a little unique they can work with you. For instance I had a custom serial number done.

I've been super pleased with the service and the parts are as good as any. ATRS might be an even better lower as they have tweaked the design to a certain extent, but at almost twice the price. Also a good option as well... if you can afford it.

I've had numerous Dlask dealings and can only say great things.

The best example I can provide would be when a custom Dlask-870 barrel wouldn't fit my Chinese made-870 receiver. I brought both the barrel and receiver to Dlask and "the problem" was remedied within 30minutes while I waited (the Chinese receiver was out of spec - surprise surprise).

Awesome customer service IMO.

I was going to pipe in but this says it all ...

Ok lets see so far...

1 1911 built by them very impressed with it. It was sweet... dead on too.

1 DAR 10/22 with a custom made barrel (had to have it made to length I wanted) very fun gun to shoot only issuse was 1 lose screw but that was after 500 rnds through the gun tightend it back up and it was good to go...

I already put in another order for my cx strom I want a custom barrel made for it. He said it will be expensive because getting blanks it hard for 45 acp but Im willing to wait somethings take time and I have been impressed with his service so far.

I was talking to him and he did mention that the new guy did screw something’s up at one point and that he had to fix them. Mistakes happen its how you are dealt with after that maters most people like to complain right away with out giveing them a chance to fix something. So far 0 issuses and on order number 3 already. Service speed depends on what he has in stock ect as it takes time to do things. I'm in no rush so I don't mind waiting all the time for things sometimes you have no choice..

I'm also tempted in getting one of his short shotguns as well.. 6.5 inch should be intresting...

The Maple Leaf :canadaFlag: on my AR15 is the best part of the lower ;)
Aside from ATRS (which is more expensive) .. any Canadian made AR part is good news.

they have had some off spec issues - but they fix their problems.
They dont advertise here .. but they are reputable dealer and Ive had nothing but good experiences with them (but I am local)... so YMMV

Dlask

I have only owned one of their lowers and it was great,I too have heard the complaints, but their customer service is top notch and they will make almost any issue right.

On a side note....Their 1911's are extrordinary,Easilly rival an ED Brown or a Wilson ETC.. at half the price AND THEY ARE CANADIAN
