EESA 2010 Charity Match Open...now with shirts!

Well, its in mid September....and many spots available, so lots of time for most people to wait till closer to know their life schedules, etc...
if there were only like 70 slots max, then it would likely be full by now.

Storm puts on great matches, so I'm sure it will be full c by September. Sign up and have fun !!

LOL.....Stormbringer must be a busy man doing all that by himself!

QUIET SLAVE!!!!!!

LOL.......In all honesty in the last two years the EESA IPSC Crew has really jelled togther and it is now very much a group effort. The years of STORM's matches are gone.....hopefully forever!!

The match is Sept 22nd through the 26th.

Friday is almost totally open..........as in we have SEVEN yes 7 shooters but have room for 40.

Which is disappointing to say the least.

But those 7 will be in good hands as we will have TONS of people there to help sitting idle eager to help them when they arrive at their stages.

I forsee this as my last kick at the LIII MD can if this is the turnout we can expect.

I agree! Likely going to have a weeks worth of work into this, with prop building, setup etc., then working the match, another 4 days, and to hear complaints about not enough LVL 3's throughout the year, I can't see me throwing my support towards another with an abysmal turnout!

Oh well, others will do it, right?

Guys, the complains are not necessarily related to the match attendance. I bet everyone who complained about L3s, including me, are actually attending and thankful for your efforts, especially now that we have lost Triangle L3 match this year. So, this will be the last L3 this year.

One thing though is that ESSA match is the same weekend as USPSA Eastern Lakes Sectionals match. I wonder if that affected the attendance, or it is just because it is the end of season and more people are busy during a week.

Actually there is 13, but you still have 23 slots open for Friday and bunch of slots for Sunday. That is a shame indeed :(

Maybe next time you can just make it 3 day match instead of 4...

You are right. I am just bad with math...

Actually, I some data on IPSC Stats web site about the match attendance. 170+ competitor is a definitely high bar:

Summer Slam 2010 had 57 competitors
Ontario Provincials - 224
Kingston Summer Fun - 105
MIC 2010 - 84
Triangle 2009 - 148
Summer Slam 2009 - 26
QC Provincials 2009 - 127
Nationals 2009 - 205

All in all - 108 competitors is not too bad and we still have week before the match.

I am going to suggest we do 2 day Lvl 2 matches only from now on. Up the normal lvl 2 round count, limit the competitors, and up the fees. A lot less work for us, more shooting for competitors, and same amount of money!

108 competitors? 20 of those are Club members or workers! How many members in IPSC Ontario?
