Now we're talking:cheers::ninja::pirate::evil:

If you go the PE90 route, get a used one, you won't notice the difference and your wallet will feel a lot better. Unless you can get a new one for $3100 like a few dealers have or had them listed as..

I got mine for $2800 which is reasonable for that kind of quality. (I'll try to post some pics tonight, mine has an ACOG TA31F, the BDC are pretty much the same and feels lite compared to other optics.) Don't forget the PE90 isn't the litest kid on the block but serves all purposes, just a thought.

hate to rain on your parada, but the tavor is one unconvential looking firearm - aka real f'n ugly :D

may be unconventional but it is very comfortable to hold.

im pretty sure people thought the same thing with the m16 when it came out. its a far step from the M14 and M1 Garand, which people likely said were ugly going to those from the p14 and p17.

im not big on the swiss arms its just a glorified AK47 with closer tolerances.

And far more accurate...

Here's another reason why to ge tthe Swiss :)

i fail to see that as a reason lol. its all personal prefrence. what feels best to you. if you are uncomfortable holding the rifle. your not going to shoot it worth a damn.

if the Tavor feels better get it, if the swiss feels better get it. they are within $400 of each other. so its not a big margin.

i have held both, as well as the fs2000 the tavor to me feels the best. its rock solid in my hands, the swiss is to front heavy for me, and the fs feels like a toy.

Still waiting on those pics man :D

As promised...

Myself, Zupermann & AngryEyeBrowzzzzzz all agree the SIG 551 (18'') would the best all round carbine if it was non res in 18.5'' (Update on de-restricting one of those at a later date).

I've personally re-balanced my 1:7 PE90, I stayed away from variable scope with heavy rings and went ACOG, why? the damn scope only weights in @ 9oz!
My other set-up was a short dot with LaRue mount that weighted in @ over 2lbs + the rifle is 9lbs.

1) Removed bipod, 1/2 pound or so gone to the front.

2) Put 4x ACOG with Larue mount, 3/4 lbs vs the 2lbs+ other option.

3) My set up still weights in @ 9lbs which is very acceptable.

4) ACOG doesn't require batteries for 13 years etc..Exceptional clarity and has bullet drop comp reticle, magnification is average enough for further coyote shots because it is so clear.

5) I'm a recent convert to the single point sling as well and for the PE90 it's the s**t!! A perfect fit for the Swiss on all fronts.

6) Parked the Swiss Army sling for service rifle appl, maybe.

7) LAR-15 mags....Who needs them when you have a attachable mag system.

8) Mags, just got 10 used ones for 24$ a pop, shipped and tax via Canam, so the mags are the same $ as AR ones...+ You can see your rounds as well

9) I think the perfect ACOG mount for this would be the RCO but the M4 sits high & back as well so natural eye alignment is satisfactory.

10)I shoot cheap 55gr Prvi .223 for hunting Yotes, they feed & shoot exceptional!!

My GP rig, would you like fries with that sir?
