Today i saw a fabarm 14"" 12ga
i found it intersting. i tried to search about it but couldnt get much out.
what can you tell me about these?

how does it stand compared to the 870s when it comes to price vs quality?

I have a Nickel SDASS, and the quality blows the remi's away, unfortunately, the price blows the rest of us away as well. ;)

Fabarms have very tight and smooth actions, and mine has given me no problems in hundreds of rounds. They are a limited brand here in North America though, so don't expect to find a lot of toys specifically for it. The 14" is a bit of a toy, but it can swap out to a 20 inch barrel and a mag extension.

If you just want a reliable, cheap beater gun, get a remi or a mossberg, etc.

I have the 14" Martial version. It is very well made with tight tolerances, cycles like a dream. It is lighter than the 870 as the receiver is aluminium. Not too many accessories available however I was able to find top and bottom rails for optics, lights etc. Target Sports had them for about $600 so not that far off from a somewhat loaded 870.

Oh, and these are not like toys... serious SG's, with majorly nice tolerances and looks. Accurate as a shotgun gets, with intercahngeable chokes... get one, you won't regret it.

i meant tactical, sorry about that , so the sat8 is the semi? i was researching and all i seemed to find is pump action 14 inch fabarms , and i wanted one 14 inch in a semi ?

hey, guys. i am very interested in the 14 inch fabarm pump lately. How is the spread when it comes to birds/target shots? would i be able to hit anything let say beyond 20 yards? Cause the last shorty i have (8.5 inch) is totally useless ..

I have several screw in chokes for mine that work very well. The only thing that is different is they scew in and extend past the end of the barrel rather than the usual internal chokes. They are external "screw on" chokes but they work very well. They just look odd. I have not compared the spread compared to traditional choke of same constiction. Maybe a test is in order.

So, why you sell it to me???:D

In my opinion, this is the best shotgun of it's kind. Handling is better than anything I ever try. Ultra light but the ergonomic make that his recoil is less than my other shotguns, long barreled or short. Never fail on me, accurate with everything, and look good. A serious piece of equipement. I love it!!!
