As i have recently read, Australian International Arms Lee Enfield 10 and 20 round mags will work in a M14. Im curious as to wether people have used these yet and whether they had any feed problems? There is a shipment of mags coming in to Canada soon and im debating on purchasing a couple. I have a norinco M305 on order as well and im curious as to wether they are compatable together.

I bought 2 but I can't tell you how they work till that shipment comes in. The 10 rounders worked well, so the 20's shouldn't be any different. Theres a video somewhere of M14doctor shooting with the 10 rounder.

Im waiting on a couple of reviews as well , i didnt have the chance to grab the 10 rounders and when the 20 rounders were said to be coming in , i did get excited , however as much as i want one i cant justify spending 100 + on a Single magazine just because it holds 15 more rounds . .

I have 2 of the 10 rounders, and have put dozens of full mags through both mine and my buddies m14's with only a couple fail to feeds. I believe this was due to the ammo/no being fully seated in the mag, and not the mags fault.

I will definetly buy a couple 20 rounders if they ever get here.

who is supposedly bringing these in? (I say supposedly because until they hit the shelves, they are simply a rumor IMO, Refer to Canada Ammo LAR 10/30 pistol mags for example).

more gun supply AKA killercane (with somedigits replacing some letters, couldn't tell you which)

I'd drop a couple of hundred for a couple of legal normal capacity mags for my M14. I figure if I don't spend it on fun stuff, the government's only going to take it from me. Who is selling these beauties?

ki11ercane likes to advertise a lot of stuff that is not even in country and that is not even his own brainchild. It sure must piss off his suppliers when he starts yapping about something before it's even hit the shores.

I went way back into battle rifles and learned a bit about AIA mags.

So one could have a AIA mag fall into a m305 and this would not be illegal. If the mag fell into the 305 while outside, say in the bush, doing some sort of woodland activity, this would still be Ok as long as local activity regs were not broken?

Does not matter if you held the magazine at gun point and forced it into the rifle, mag is legal no if and or buts. Regulation refers to the magazine, not the firearm. Since this is a bolt action magazine, its not limited, it just a happens to fit the m-14. Same as the LAR-15 mags, they are pistol mags, thus limited to ten rounds, they just a happen to fit into the AR-15 rifle.

I am interested to see how the 20 round AIA mags will turn out.

(Damn Another post today, thats like 15 in the last hour, I need a Girl Friend or something)

Interesting comment AK. I'd curious as to this "lots of stuff" you're referring to when 98% of the "stuff" I advertise I have on hand here in the warehouse.

As for the magazines, I get daily updates from the importer, and I am told they are still on track to get here. As I get tidbits of info, I pass them along. So far all I know is:

1. They are exactly the same as the AIA 10 round mags, except long enough to hold 20 rounds vs. 10 rounds.
2. They are made for the AIA bolt action rifle, not the M14.
3. They are being made from birth for the AIA rifle and not remade M14 mags. When you see them, you'll know it right away because your M14 magazine would not work in your AIA rifle.
4. They will be stamped, not laser engraved or screen printed for the rifle they are made for.
5. If you want to know what they physically look like now, have someone show you their AIA 10 round magazine. They are identical, except for the length.

For all the detractors on these magazines, I am as equally skeptical because there is "The Wall" that wants to keep things like this out of the country regardless of their legality. All of you who have ordered them other than the handful of EMT payments know no money has changed hands and won't change hands until they are in country. I'll believe it myself when I am staring at the boxes of mags sitting in my warehouse.

Alright that's fair enough. Don't get me wrong I would love to see these here, but the skeptic in me is coming out I guess.
