I have a sig 229r plus goodies sig has less then 200 down the pipe I am asking 1400 for the package. Now would it be fair to trade for a used colt gold cup series 70 straight across or should I add or take off cash????

Also why cant I find a series 70 are they not being produced any more?

New Colts are pretty rare new in stores. A few site sponsors has them in stock but you have to pay for them. $1400 for your SIG is too much. A used pistol has to reflect a used price despite how good of shape its in.

SIG Sauer - E29R with rail, Trijicon Sights, Threaded Barrel, 1/2X28' thread, Thread Protector & Hogue Grips, 2 mags (Limited run... only 3 available)
Stock 3
Price: $1,350.00

Retail Price: $1,709.46

From Questar.

It doesnt matter what you paid for it, it has to reflect todays price at a competitive retailer. People overpay all the time and there used price is still over new at places lol

I would give you 900.00 for your Sig thats all.

I dont like that holster or that light.

I'm with CdnCombatMedic. Around $1000 for the pistol, maybe bump it a bit for the light/laser so that the cat has something to play with (besides the springs I leave laying around.)

You might be better off selling the tacticool holster separately.

900 are you on drugs?? its a R with night sights and 4 mags you cant find factory mags for less then 50 each and who else has better holster then blade tech and its brand new.... plus the ammo is factory not rolled

Or you could disregard our advice, accuse us of being on drugs, and keep it on the EE for another 3 weeks.

That works too.

I'm willing to move on my price add or remove items +cash and - cash ... the holster kinda goes with the light and laser plus stream light tlr-2 is not a 20 doller light... I will pull my add and break it up thanx for the help: )

I only wanted 1050 for the pistol and four mags that seems fair right?

I suggest you find similar used ones for sale at the local gun shops or on the net and list a similar price, what ever seems fair to you and if it doesn’t sell then you can ether lower your price or keep it. No mater what anybody says you should never sell it for wholesale unless you are comfortable with the price or strapped for money.

I am not stuck for cash at all I just hate it and never use it I like my colt way better. .. I would even take a slight loss for a series 70

Like I said, It's your call, whatever is in your comfort range, a guy that loves that model will think he is getting a great deal. The trick is to put it out there in as many places as you can and hopfully you will find that guy, if not you will have to sell it for less.

i'd give you $900 too with shipping included , night sights run around 80-100 extra depends where i buy them so i wouldt add a lot of extra money for them, it is still a used gun u have to realize that.

I would like to see you find one in canada with 4 mags for 900 and not a refurb broken pos one made in america!. Serious if you do I will ask 900 for it has to have less then 200 rnds night sights and be a R model. If you cant then your just one of the many annoying low ballers that gets ignored all the time

You have to realize your gun it is not unique, its a run of the mil sig that happens to be used. If you think I am an annoying low baller, I think you....well I guess I will keep my mouth shut. You asked for advice, dont be closed minded and all defensive. There is a reason why it has not sold for quite some time. There actually looks like there is excessive wear on the barrel by the ejection port. Im thinking there is more than 200 rounds on this pistol also.

I can get 10 round 229 Mags for 41.49 brand spakin new.

1050.00 with 4 mags + shipping is still to high.

Good luck with your sale.

Where did you see that price on those mags?

Also fire 5 rounds out any sig and it wears in that spot because the tolerance on a german sig is so tight.... keep in mind there are two sig plants germany and usa mine is german not american
