My confession is that I had a bunch (300) of prepped .223 brass that I trimmed, chamfered, deburred and primed while having a few rums tonight. I was using a LEE hand primer and CCI primers for the priming. I was also listening to the radio.

I watch movies/tv/chat on facebook while reloading. So far I've found out it's pretty hard to F-up the process even if I wanted to.

I let the oh let's call them 'fudds' on CGN make me think this thing was a lot trickier than it really is. A monkey could reload.

That's brave of you to confess to shooting .223, even if you needed a drink to do it. :D

Well played, sir.:D

I have actually handled primers, measured powder and seated bullets with a smoke burning in the corner of my mouth :eek:

As long as you have your safety glasses on, it's all OK, right?

You guys are wild men!:eek::D

Just last night I was thinking about mentioning that I sometimes have a beer on the bench while loading, especially while sizing/trimming/cleaning/priming brass. The only time I won't think about having a beverage is when loading with cast bullets, I am not a fan of adding to my lead intake.

I haven't got up the nerve to vacuum spilled powder yet, I am still using a broom for that job. I must be a chicken at heart.:p

And to think that the anti's consider guns and ammo to be on par with plutonium on the danger scale...:rolleyes:

Hardcore stuff.:eek:
AM or FM?
Country or Rock?:D

When I go to reload, I am in search of some peace and quiet. The only distraction I can really admit to is having a buddy there. I always put them to to work.

I wish I had buddies that would help :D

You can add another one to having a few drinks to help with case prep and the occasional primer.

Powder and Bullet seating are sober of course but case prep .. the bane of handloading :)

I've done all this and worse....I have used FEDERAL PRIMERS in the LEE Hand primer. Probably going ot hell now.:p
