I'm thinking of buying a Norc 1911 from Armco soon but was just wondering how fast he is with transfers etc. I know if you send your gun to him, you might be in for a bit of a wait but how about if you're just buying one that has already been worked over? Is it a fairly standard turnaround time?

Gunnar is pretty quick with getting stuff shipped out that is in stock. In the past, he has always shipped within a few days of payment.

Don't let others topic stop you. I've several time email him for informations, not buying anything and I still got reply within a day or two. Anyhow an tuned inexpensive reliable 1911, he is the only source. I won't even mind to wait for a little. Sometimes people just being too busy or personal health problem, will mess out something but it is all understandable.

Armco was no longer than other CGN vendors when I bought from him. His service was great so I wouldn't worry, and I would buy from him again.:)

Armco

I have purchased several things from him and he is quick shipping. Also I had an issue with a Pachmeyer sight and he had a replacement in the mail right away. I have heard complaints about slow turnaround for gun repairs, but I think he is a busy, one-man operation.

According to the website "One man and one woman operation" and I've bought stuff from him too. Always quick responses and great advice too!! Will eventually buy a Norc from him.

Well there is a reason he was voted the No 1 firearms dealers by Cgn'ers last year.

He is a good guy and works hard at looking after his customers. I have bought several pieces from him with no issues.

Ok.. first.. its all the same... why the cfo is what takes the time... sometimes the cfo drops the ball big time..

dont like it write to your mp and tell them I dont like waiting for my guns.. :p

Top notch

Gunnar is really great to deal with and because of that he is sometimes really busy. I have bought from him twice and one was shipped faster than the other. I got what I wanted and the info he provided me was greatly appreciated when I actually talked to him. If you don't get a reply right away you will and it will be worth your time.

His service has always been good for me, keep in mind he is only a small shop with 2 of them, plus a very understanding wife....

The BC CFO office is generally fairly quick to handle the paperwork if buying a gun, which helps the dealer speed up shipping the item.

Gunnar gets a bum-rap from the impatient and those with ADD. However, I've always had EXCELLENT service from him, and as noted, it's worth the wait. The guy is a gem in the community... cut him some slack!
