Time to Delete! Thanks

Hmmm I think the USA is measured with the FH if I read the reviews right down south??

if that is so then it is still only .5" longer. if it is not included it could be shorter oal as we get no flash hider (which i am happy about because they just get full of ice and snow when hunting anyways)

haha, im lucky i have something i need to get rid of that will pay for half of it. its just selling it that is the b!tch, even when its a good deal for the other guy.

i wonder what the reliability is on this rifle, ive never heard any reports of jams or failed parts or anything of that sort.

The RFB is pretty damn reliable. No failures have been reported yet. I just havnt heard any good on the accuracy side yet. It's also rumored that it will be available in .223. But that is so far just a rumor.

No failures have been reported yet.

As much as I'm interested in an RFB, that's not correct. The list to date includes damaged ejector chutes (since re-designed in a new material), blown gas blocks, and case head separations due to excess headspace. All promptly fixed by Kel-Tec, hence my previous question to Vault about Canadian parts inventories (not as yet answered, and ridiculed by a few CGN members).

I think these issues are in the <700 serial numbers, so I'm ok with buying a new one, pending information about Canadian parts inventory to manage warranty issues if any arise.

Regarding accuracy, reports are sub-MOA with handloads. Hovering around MOA with decent commercial ammo, and 2-3 moa with crappy ammo or surplus.

Yeah, that's what I'm reading on KTOG and other sites. All the problems have basically been resolved since rifles in the 600s were produced.

I was hoping to get my hands on a 32 inch target cut to 20". Why? Thicker barrel, match trigger. Heh heh I can dream can't I?

Big words for a new dealer with 48 or so posts. Of course, there is a reason why Vault works with Wolverine as distributor (strange, why do we need 2 distributors IN LINE?), because Vault is a bit weak on the money breath side.

I'm sorry OZZ that you feel the way you do. I pay close to $1000 a year for the privilege to be able to post on here.Your here at zero cost Do you think CGN lets dealers on here for free?

I'm trying to do the best I can, to keep all of you up to date with any information about the product lines we represent. This has been well over a year since we began talks with Kel-Tec, starting in October 2009. Its been a long hard road to get things to where they are at this point. I'm very proud that we've made it this far and were able to bring these firearms to you that really care. Two months ago after the many rejected export applications by the U.S. Department Of State, Kel-Tec was going to pull the plug on the deal.

I'm not getting rich on this deal guys, I wish I was. Its all about the long term here for myself and Vault Distribution.

The price issue I will explain in a very elementary school way. This is not meant to offend anyone.

Every company in business that manufactures and sells their products has distributor pricing. Most companies offer discounts on the quantity you purchase from them. 0 to 50 one price, 50 to 100 another price and 1000 to 5000 a greater discount. The bottom line, the more you buy the better deal you get.

Vault Distribution had to commit to close to $100,000 USD in guns from Kel-Tec to get the prices we have now. Plus financial commitments for double that within next year so that Kel-Tec would even consider the Canadian market. I had to re finance my house to come up with the investment capital.

Do you really think Kel-Tec needs to export their guns to Canada? The RFB-C has been nothing but a huge hassle to them, and it costs more money to produce than the U.S.model. They have to re tool every time they manufacture the Canadian version. Time and money in the manufacturing world. The moral of the story is, when our price comes down we will extend this along to our dealers and then to you. We are already looking at a major purchase of Sub2000's for next year. This will drop the price if we do. Oh.. to add, the RFB is the only Kel-Tec product with zero volume discounts, oh I tried, I'm lucky to get any at all with all the majors in the U.S. clambering for them.

Very soon Vault will be launching our own forum connected to the Vault Distribution website. This forum will have an area exclusively focused on Kel-Tec products, like KTOG in the states. Kel-Tec thought it was a great idea. When the forum is ready to go, Vault will be giving away some free Kel-Tec merchandise. I will let you all know.

In future if anybody has any questions, Pm me or send me an email.

Thanks again for all your support guys

Wolverine is one of Vault Distributions stocking dealers for the Kel-Tec line not a second distributor. Just as Lanz Shooting Supplies, Reliable,Wanstalls and P&D are for us. Vault Distribution will be adding a couple more Kel-Tec stocking dealers in the new year, if all goes well.

Thanks
