SSAR-15 Bump-fire stock

Why?

Like seriously, why?

I like full auto as much as the next guy, in a bipod supported machinegun role...
But really? Whats the point of a "Kinda sorta full auto" AR15?

To each his own, just not something I would buy.

Only reason I can see it not being legal is this:

Former Prohibited Weapons Order, No. 9

1. Any electrical or mechanical device that is designed or adapted to operate the trigger mechanism of a semi-automatic firearm for the purpose of causing the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession.

Since the 'device' is not designed or adapted to operate the trigger at all it may be OK. Chances are it will get shot down by the RCMP once they figure out what it's for though via some OIC. You have to admin that this is in violation of the 'spirit of the law' even though it is technically OK by the specific wording currently in force.

BATFE has given conditional approval since there's no "mechanical" part in it (spring, assembly, etc). It's just a sliding stock that you have to hold forward.

Ill take one , why not ? they want to continue to throw ridiculous and benign laws at us and just expect us to bend over and take it , i think this is a great way to say see we can #### with you too.

You know... I might actually buy one of those if the price was right.

I mean, hell - why not?!

It's selectable on-off in terms of bump firing, so you can leave it off for those single-round sessions... but every once in a while, wouldn't it be fun to let loose a little burst or three? :)

Naturally, RRA 10-rounders would be a necessary accessory... good thing I just snagged a bunch from MoreGuns at the last Edmonton CHAS show! :D

Guys - you're talking as if there is even a REMOTE chance they're legal here.

They are NOT. They will be considered prohibited devices. They don't need an OIC.. they will just seize them at the border.

If ANYONE here is able to import one LEGALLY, I'll eat my hat. In my opinion, it has ZERO chance.

The point is there doesn't seem to be any law that would justify seizing, or prohibiting these stocks!

Once again it will be the RCMP arbitrarily classifying them with their own interpretations of the law that would stop these from getting to us!

This is beyond the realm of the police, as a public service their job is to enforce existing law, not interpret and make their own!

If you just simply accept this then you might as well hand over your guns now!

We need to bring these in an make it a huge deal! RCMP need to be stopped, and put in their place!

Couldn't have put it better myself!
