How many "Brantfords" are there in Canada?

I am only familiar with the Brantford in Ontario.

There must be another one somewhere or something fishy is going on.

Google maps only shows one in Canada, several roads named Brantford in the US. What's up?

There's Bradford Ontario...I used to get them confused when I was a kid.

I know of Bradford as well as Brantford. Screwed that up once for an appointment for work.

In that case something weird is certainly going on. Mind you it could just be a typo. Either that or there is a vicious plot by unscrupulous people to take over the world!!

No........It is IPSC related otherwise I would have posted something like that in OT.

If you check out the new IPSC world E magazine there is a letter from an individual from Brantford Canada congratulating them on the magazine.

I was happy to see a Canuck's letter in the publication.

However..........I cannot find any evidence of said individual existing.

If it is Brantford Ontario he is not a member of IPSC Ontario.

Canada411 came up empty but he could be unlisted.

Or it could be a typo on somebody's part. I just found it a tad weird.

Of course another possible reason could be that this individual is a higher ranking IPSC BOD member like the President (Nick) who also lives in Ontario but due to his position does not have to be a member of the local IPSC Section as the position provides automatic membership.

That said at least I can prove that Nick exists and have met him. This guy is a ghost thus far. Where is CSI when you need them!

The strange thing is normally you can type the name with IPSC at the end and see some of his match....nothing on him

I'll see what I can find, maybe on some old membership lists...
More likely it's a made up name and letter...kind of like the movie reviews you see in the trailers....the key words are just like the official letter that is being sent out.

Yeah, I suspect the last two letters are made up. How can you write a letter about how great a magazine is and have it published in the very first edition...before anyone has seen it?

Yep, the first 2 names you can do Google Searches and find them linked to ipsc, the other 2, not so much. I even googled some of our newer IPSC members of our club and came up with stuff, LOL!
