Anyone know if they show up in Canada for sale once in a while? Another forum I subscribe to seems to think they are the worlds best 9mm.

The SIG P210-6 is the best 9mm pistol ever made. Period. It might even be the best-made semi-auto handgun ever made, as well. I had four of them before the ban, dating from 1949 right up to 1995. The fit and finish and superb accuracy were things I'll never forget.

I had a Colt .45ACP racegun, too, with over $4000 in it, that was made like a dumpster by comparison.

The fact that ‘Legend’ comes with 25m test target, and same grouping size as original P210 with 50m test target speaks for itself. It does not justify the price. Get one from Tradex while you can. At least those are original SIGs.

If the sig-p210's were cheaper,i would sell all of my handguns in 9mm & shoot the p210's only.

I would do that if I were you.
I settled for two only 9mm pistols. One is Luger another is P210. In Lugers I enjoy and admire complexity, artistic elegancy, and craftsmanship, in P210s I admire simplicity and clean lines. They are both equally accurate at the range. It is a real pleasure to watch people at the range to outshoot themselves every time I land them a gun to try out. Expression on their face is priceless when they realize that all marketing crap they read I their life about various guns is just that - crap.

Yup, wish I had the cash (actually I will at some point) it's definitely on my list. I agree about getting a "real" one, it seems that Exeter (Sigarms) is profit mining Sig's reputation.

So what I'm hearing is that the older originals such as the Tradex ones which are good used pistols are likely the better ones to get. Right?

Don't know about better, but the originals are made in Switzerland by craftsmen long before CNC machines and the world of outsourcing. The new ones are made in German I believe, hopefully not by Turks:p

I'm looking to pick up a high end 9mm Euro pistol this February. Its come down to either a HK P7M13, or the Sig 210. I think the Sig is a more bulletproof design, but there is something about those P7's that makes my pants swell. Needless to say, im having a hard time making up my mind, I wish the Sig came in .45 acp, then I could justify getting both. I just have enough 9mm pistols already. Se la vie!

Although, if I could find a p210 in .22LR id have to think long and hard why not to buy it.

If I buy one I'll have to be careful as you live in Port Moody and likely shoot at the same club. Do NOT want to see those pants swell, lol

LOL, well as it turns out, Im moving to Calgary at the end of the month and my range membership ran out at the end of the year. So I doubt you'll see me nor my pants anytime soon. :D

I have SIG 210's and HK P7M8's. Get the 210..

Are you saying I should just sell all my other 9mm's and get a 210 AND a P7? I think thats what your trying to say :p

In your opinion, what makes the 210 the better choice? Both are very fine pistols.

I'm not much into those P7 pistols (And not too informed on the different models: P7M8, P7M13, P7PSP...) but this US seller has some hard chrome model I'd really consider :)

210-6's show up from time to time. I was lucky enough to find an almost NIB two years ago at a local shop. It's so accurate that it's almost not fun to shoot...almost. Mags are pretty pricey and there is a .22 conversion kit but they are hard to find and quite expensive. It's a remarkable pistol to be sure but I would like to try a new "Legend" in a side by side test before I say anything negative about the new ones.
