Why is it impossible? Each Region gets one vote, right (I saw your posts at the GV)? The President we have now is from Ontario, Canada, and he got elected under the same system, right? If everyone else in the world shares your view that IPSC is broken and needs fixing, surely they'd jump at the chance to have you as world leader?

Don't make excuses. Time to put up or quit criticizing and complaining.

It says "IPSC" right next to "Action Air" in my rulebook. The stuff which is not IPSC is just called Airsoft.

Saying he is from Ontario is a bit of a put on of course. From my experience he has never been at an IPSC match in Ontario for years. Maybe even over a decade. Heck he did not even know what EESA was. Odd considering we hosted the ONTARIO provincials in 2008 and have been quite front and centre in the news as a result of our Charity matches.

The system IS broken by the very fact that an area with 100 people has the same power over that system as an area of 20,000 members. That is WRONG..........no doubt about it.

However since that IS the system the chances of getting those same small areas to give up their hold on power is about nil. Sad but a true testiment to human nature.

It is not an excuse. I am not the sort of creature that would be able to "work the system" as required to get elected. If you knew anything about me at all you would know that in fact I do put up. That is the catch 22 I spoke about.

If required. However the neat thing is that in places like CGN there is an appeal process. Any decison I make here can be over ruled by a vote of the other mods. Can you say that about GV? Of course not. Your own words prove that.

It also says that IPSC is predicated upon the use of FULL POWER handguns....right there in the rule book. You know the V in DVC.

Who does cover the cost of GV? Since there are no sponsors or adds, I would guess that IPSC does so our memberships do. So apparently the people who are paying to keep the site going don't have a right to post on it according to Vinny's CGN gopher.
If it is funded by our membership dues, then shouldn't 7.62 and EUXX get a discount since they're not allowed to access the forum?

Sure, why not? I only met him once, but since you hate everything else to do with IPSC, why not pick on him too? I'm sure he's wrong and you're right, but tell us why.

So what? Did you invite him? Maybe he was out of town when your match was held? Why don't you ask him (or maybe Vinny)?

I think it is an excuse. Get your name on whatever ballot is used, lobby each country for their vote like candidates do, present your case, and face the music like a man. You keep telling us you're a fighter, not a quitter in a chicken suit, so prove it.

Of course you'll just say he'll always back Vinny, so there's no point trying. There's just no way to win with you. There's always an excuse.

I do not pick on anyone at all........There are few things in this world I "Hate". There are some I dislike but hate is pretty much reserved for a select few. None of which have anything to do with IPSC at all.

Now there are some ACTIONS and traits that I do hate.........and sometimes those are exhibited by IPSC shooters.

Actually.........after I found out who he was I did approach him. Funny that it went that way as the Canadians were obviously Canadian what with Canadian Team shirts and all but hey maybe he did not recognize them. He had walked past a few times within 5 or so feet of us. But not to be detered,I introduced myself and mentioned our Charity matches...........which is how I found out that he did not know where EESA is. I was a tad shocked having made the National News for over a week in 2008 regarding our charity match which was also the 2008 Provincials not to mention being only an hour and a half from where he lives. But hey stuff happens. So I invited him to come out to the 2010 event. I was given assurances that he would be there and would HELP out in any way we needed just email him when we got home.

So I emailed...........no reply. Ok so maybe that one was missed. So emailed again........and again and I believe again. Nadda, nothing. Ziltch so much for that idea.

As it was the match was very successful and we raised $10,178 for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation but I did find it a tad offputting.

It is reality........I am just trying to point out the problems. If you can figure out a way to fix these problems and make the sport better I am all ears.

Why do you talking about power? If you run for president, that won't affect the voting system or anyone's power.
