Why is it impossible? Each Region gets one vote, right (I saw your posts at the GV)? The President we have now is from Ontario, Canada, and he got elected under the same system, right? If everyone else in the world shares your view that IPSC is broken and needs fixing, surely they'd jump at the chance to have you as world leader?Ah but that is the catch 22 isnt it. With the current system that is IMPOSSIBLE.
I say it's not, you say it is, but you win. It must be fun being prosecutor and judge. Are you also executioner? It is an insult of that there can be no doubt.
It says "IPSC" right next to "Action Air" in my rulebook. The stuff which is not IPSC is just called Airsoft.Allow me to be the first one to thank you for not calling it IPSC![]()

It is not an excuse. I am not the sort of creature that would be able to "work the system" as required to get elected. If you knew anything about me at all you would know that in fact I do put up. That is the catch 22 I spoke about.Don't make excuses. Time to put up or quit criticizing and complaining.

If required. However the neat thing is that in places like CGN there is an appeal process. Any decison I make here can be over ruled by a vote of the other mods. Can you say that about GV? Of course not. Your own words prove that.

It also says that IPSC is predicated upon the use of FULL POWER handguns....right there in the rule book. You know the V in DVC.

Ok......
How many "Brantfords" are there in Canada?
I am only familiar with the Brantford in Ontario.
There must be another one somewhere or something fishy is going on.
Who does cover the cost of GV? Since there are no sponsors or adds, I would guess that IPSC does so our memberships do. So apparently the people who are paying to keep the site going don't have a right to post on it according to Vinny's CGN gopher.
I too thought there was something strange about this so called letter to the editor. Upon some further investigation I discovered the true identify of this mysterious Robert Steinfort...

F*%K YA!Sure, why not? I only met him once, but since you hate everything else to do with IPSC, why not pick on him too? I'm sure he's wrong and you're right, but tell us why.Oh Nick is another kettle of fish entirely. Do you really want to go there? Really?
So what? Did you invite him? Maybe he was out of town when your match was held? Why don't you ask him (or maybe Vinny)? From my experience he has never been at an IPSC match in Ontario for years.
I think it is an excuse. Get your name on whatever ballot is used, lobby each country for their vote like candidates do, present your case, and face the music like a man. You keep telling us you're a fighter, not a quitter in a chicken suit, so prove it.It is not an excuse. I am not the sort of creature that would be able to "work the system" as required to get elected.
Well I guess the GV is different and Vinny has executive power (yes, that's wrong too, like everything else you don't like) but surely you can go over his head to President Nick? Of course you'll just say he'll always back Vinny, so there's no point trying. There's just no way to win with you. There's always an excuse.Any decison I make here can be over ruled by a vote of the other mods. Can you say that about GV?
No idea. Ask Vinny.Who does cover the cost of GV? If it is funded by our membership dues, then shouldn't 7.62 and EUXX get a discount since they're not allowed to access the forum?

.
No idea. Ask Vinny.

If that was the case, you should object to <this idea> not <this person>. I can only read what is written, not what's on your mind. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't you the guy who called Vinny a "douche bag"? That's not hating an idea, that's hating a person. We may HATE the IDEA, but we don't HATE the person..
That was very nice of you, but of course I have no idea why he didn't attend. So I invited him to come out to the 2010 event.
Why do you talking about power? If you run for president, that won't affect the voting system or anyone's power. No it is reality.......do you think that the smaller areas will give up their deathgrip on power?
