Mags from the states.

If you find someone that would actually ship Mags to Canada.....They would need an export license and they would know that it is a no-go to ship full cap mags to Canada.
They could go to Jail themselves for that

If someone is dumb enough to sell you some -They shouldn't pass customs.. But there is a chance.

But unfortunately, as soon as you pick them up you are in possession of Prohibited Devices. They might let it go through just to catch you picking them up.

That means, go to Jail.

yea you have to have them pinned before they come here, and thanks to US law its hard as hell to get them here even if they are pinned...

I processed an order 90% of the way just to see how it'd work. The price is awesome ($14, how could you go wrong?), but where they get you is in the shipping price.

However for ordering four (4) mags, you can get UPS ground shipping at $23. That brings the mags price up to only $20 each including shipping. So long as our dollar is level with the USD.

Bloody good deal if I may say so myself. I just discovered this with C Prods in another similar thread earlier today. Wished I'd learned about it before buying all these other mags...

I had a bull-pup stock and some mags seized by Canada customs that were sent to me from Brownells. Trust me dude NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE I was 18 at the time and knew very little about firearms laws. If your mags get seized you probably won't get charged but you will make it on some sort of terrorist watch list or some such BS.

A friendly Customs agent told me when it comes to firearms buy from Canada only it's just easier for everyone. She elaborated on many areas of import laws that Canada is enforcing that actually don't exist yet. That may be why I didn't get charged.

Hope this is of some help.

You didn't get charged because you were not in posession of the mags (if in fact they were prohibited devices - you didn't say what the capacity of the mags were).

What? Thats like getting ticketed for speeding doing 99 in 100 lol. CBS is not enforcing any laws that don't exist yet...

Contact CProducts and place your order directly from them. They have Canada compliant mags in stock and will ship to your door. A buddy and myself just got a bunch in .223 and 6.8. I payed $150 for 9 5/30 mags with anti-tilt followers delivered.
I haven't found a better deal yet.

And then you get it by the 50%to 80% markup brokage fees from UPS witch adds at least 10 to 15$ per mag.....

UPS charged me 57$ import/brokage/duty fees for a 42$ set of dies

The mags are supposed to be altered before entering Canada, as others have mentioned.

I've bought several pinned mags from Dynamite Monkey here on CGN and was always impressed. The prices were right too (for Canada)

I had worse...consider yourself lucky...hhhahahah...i feel your pain..

If you are bringing them in make sure they are declared properly and pinned properly, the person sending them to you generally speaking has to have a dealer license and export permit as well. It can be risky business, keep up with CBSA laws to make sure you are in the confines of the Law.

Remember the laws are open to interpretation by the CBSA agents on the floor, the president of the CBSA is rumored to be a real left wing as####

Some people in their are really cool but there are a lot of people that have no intention of letting anything go through...period..

If anything is seized be prepared to wait a lengthy period and risk the possibility of going to court and hiring a lawyer..

They don't care if you make an honest mistake..if anything they are more than happy to arrest your ass and make an example of you, at least on the upper management level...

Just remember you are swimming in shark infested waters when dealing with importing anything firearms related!
