It needs a bipod and a drum mag to be hollywoods greatest sniper rifle. Maybe they'll write a movie just so Ben Aflec could co-star beside it.

This is a new folding stock offered by Sako on both the TRG-42 and 22 as a package. It has adjustable cheek-piece, LOP and shoulder-pad height, the pivot mono-pod is micro adjustable. The rifle was dialed in for a steel plate target at 980 yards. Yes, it is LOUD. :D

Not a new stock. That's been put for a bit. Wonder what the intended purpose of that package really is for?

Did it still have the ability to mount the Sako bipod?

I'd guess the intended purpose of that is to deafen the operator and everyone else within 100meters!!! but double up on the hearing protection and it sure would be fun.

That looks like a take-down similar to the Nemesis... Does the rifle break apart at the break line in the middle of the action?

I'd really like to see how this shoots in comparison to my TRG. Are you up for a shoot sometime, or was it a loaner shoot?

I have to ask why. this to me defeats the purpose of the 338LM as a up to 1700m range sniping round. with a 16in barrell even if it is crowned properly there is no way you would get the optimum accuracy out of the round.

It could serve a purpose as a medium range precision weapon intended to defeat barriers. It would still pack a punch and be very transportable.
