Whats wrong with knowing how many M14's are in canada??
It's a very reasonable question, I'd love to know the answer just to know how popular they really are.
Whats with the paranoia and accusations of being an anti??
 
man...... some of you need to remove the tinfoil hats and not take the internet so seriously. I've seen several examples of this lately in the MBR and i don't like it hehehe

anyways, to me it's like asking how many toyota corrolas are in canada. they are plentiful, really fast, cheap to buy, easy to steal, registered.... and in the hands of someone who should not be liscenced to own or operate one..... potentially dangerous..... even lethal :eek: did you guys know that?

seriously though..... my guess...... gotta be well over 10,000 , not counting C/A's and M1A's and in my opinion...... not enough, keep em coming. Every hunter needs one as .308 is an excellent caliber for hunting , and when bad bears or cougars come to bug you on the family camping trip...... even though the things have these silly limitted to 5 magazines..... they will protect the family from predators in a pinch


now you see...... that's how you respond when you suspect the integrity/identity/affilliation of a person with a newbie rating :D

I remember when John from Marstar found a tiny box of M14S's forgotten in his warehouse. Sold all 100+ of them within half a day when posted. There's about 2 million firearm owners in Canada and it's possible to make a profit in M14 accessories and dedicated maintenance and custom services. So it's safe to say, there's more than 1. Maybe 10. But definitely no more than 20.
 
I think Marstar brought in 4 containers.. Bell brought in 2 more.. and their may have been 1 other. IIRC John said it was 2200 in a container.. That says to me there are about 15,000 maybe a few more. Then there are all the non Chinese M14s, M1a's ETC..

So my guess is 20k... What do I win???
