Thanks guys! I have been out to the RA as well as the EOGC. Still a few more to check out. Yes I read that thread in detail and it was sent out xpress post with tracking. I sent it in without my course marks and will fax those in as soon as they arrive. I'll keep my fingers crossed......!

Canada Post Confirmed delivery January 31st, 2011

Called Mirimachi January 31st and they indicated I am not in the system yet. I will give them 48 hours and call again.

Called 3 times last week, all they would say is my application is not yet in the system
February 7 2011, It has been one week since they received my application and I am still not in the system!
 
Don't hold your breath. I my paper work was received and entered in the system the beginning of December. I am still waiting for it to pass the local CFO. I must say it is quite the time consuming process and when I did get in touch with the Orillia office they had said they were quite back logged as well.
 
I'm also waiting for the return of my test results.
Tests were mailed Jan 17th...not sure how long they take?!

Application was sent to Miramichi Jan 26th; received Jan 31; in system as of Feb 7th
 
My clock starts today

I am now in the same boat - dropped my rpal application in the mail today (registered with receipt reqd). Hopefully the process will be faster and smoother than some I have been reading about :eek:

Next decision is a club to join - anyone who want's to make suggestions on club choice please feel free to post or pm me. I am in the Georgetown/Acton area so the west is the best choice.

You have a 28 day manditory waiting period
The process takes about 3 weeks after that.
Once you get your interview call, they will call all of your references same day.
Your License will arrive about a week after phone calls
The toughest part of this sport is the waiting, get used to it!!
That is just the start
Now you have to go through the club waiting/probation period and the purchase/transfer waiting period

Called Orillia this week. I was told that it is taking somewhere between 4-5 weeks to get test scores back. It's been three as of today since I wrote my test, given the FO a couple of days to mail them out....? I figure I've got another 3 weeks ahead of me yet. The good news is that my paperwork has been received in Mirimachi, which meand I am well into the compulsary 28 day hold period.

it took 5 business days for mine to show up..

then again i sent via xpresspost and since it showed up a day late, i got my postage refunded :)

and im guessing this sending in test results is ONLY for ontario, cause my instructor told me to just mail a copy of res, non res results.....(im in BC)

If you have a delivery confirmation from Canada Post that it was signed for of the 31st of January, then it doesn't matter when it shows. Your 28 days start of the 31st of |Jan.

Just out of curiosity, was it Brown who signed for it?
 
Feb 28, well I am well into my 28 day wait period. Apllication was received January 31st. It has now been 4 weeks since i completed my pal test and 4 weeks since my rpal. As of yet I still have not received anything back from Orillia. This just seems ludacrist to me! How can marking two test scores take 5 weeks??!! Is there somewhere I can phone to find out what the hell is happening?
 
Call the Ontario CFO
My tests were sent to the CFO on Jan 11th and they were stamped on Feb 8th. Not sure when they were actually received since the mailman put them in another persons mailbox. My neighbour delivered them to my door around the 16th
