My Taurus PT1911. Also my first gun.
polished all controls + chamber part of the barrel myself. Planning on installing a S&A arched mainspring housing/magwell + maybe get some white pearl grips for when i feel pulp fiction-ish.

Deadman that is one sweet collection sitting on the shelf like that!! I'm jealous, haha.

You should post some of the Colt and RR images in here!

I think I have already. Oh what the heck, I'm an attention hound. These are my first two to actually come to me correct and original. Everything else I own is either a mixmaster, hacked up, or pieced together by me (may not be original, but at least correct)

Here's my modest few 1911's, and yes I know one is missing the front sight.

I would rather get a nice example of an early commercial pistol. Say, a first shipment Canadian contract. Would anybody here have one they would part with?

But a 1903 would be nice too. Don't know much about them. Prohib or restricted? Can't have the little things, I applied for my license after they realized people couldn't be trusted.
