Was over on the SERM site today and noticed a big change for 2011. It seems that the Gov. have decided that non resident hunters need to be drawn to hunt whitetails this year in our province.

Ya they threw that in there to try and spread the non residents out a bit instead of them all converging on the last spot known to produce a big one.
 
I think this is a good idea for a couple of reasons one it will spread out the nonres. trophy hunters. Also it will make under the table leasing arrangements more difficult.I wonder if we should only extend these tags to Provinces that offer the same deal to Sask hunters.

Well, I farmed south of Saskatoon in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s and some critters ( not my cattle ) were doing a good job of wrecking my bale-stacks.
If they wasn't deer I'd sure like to know what, cause they left deer tracks & poop..... plenty of both ! :D
 
I hunted all last year and I swear I saw a deer. She had three legs and was suffering from CWD. Problem she was on posted land that set aside aside for a non resident hunter that paid $40,000 to hunt there.

Boy will I be glad if non residents go to draw. That way I'll have a chance at the three other deer in the province. I heard a crazy rumour that one of them was even a buck but keep that under your hat.


BTW after this winter we'll all be working double hard to find any deer.

Balestacks get raided by the same interplanetary lifeforces that create crop circles. The lure of a good ole country "roll in the hay" has spread through the universe which is fine except we wish they would leave off with the grafeti and leaveing their tracks and poop all over the place. Aliens:rolleyes:

Approaching the local Sask girls has resulted in some 2 toed alien butt getting the alien crap being kicked out of them; by the sask girls of course. Few come around anymore.;)


Nobody tears up a haystack like a Saskatchewan girl, but pushovers they aint.
