Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

Finally, here is mine. The wait was due to me trying to find a recoil pad that fits the Speedfeed IV-S. Found a Limbsaver that fits more or less. I know it's a bit big but it actually looks decent in person and the stock pad was unusable!

Remington 870 Express (ya ya, I know) "Tactical" - the actual Tactical one that comes with a threaded barrel for chokes and XS Ghost Rings.

From left to right:
I took off the breacher choke and put on an Improved Cylinder
Streamlight TLR-1s
Ultra Ninja Tactical grip tape on the foreend
TacStar side saddle (4 buck, then 2 slug)
Magpul MS2 sling
Speedfeed IV-S short length of pull stock capped with a Limbsaver recoil pad

+1. I was thinking that I couldn't shoot that without some serious facial trauma. I sometimes have my thumb hit my nose with a 13" LOP stock and my thumb is farther forward than those carriers.

good to know, i yanked it off, comfortable shooting position was with the stock open fully so ill shoot off a few and see how it recoils and go from there, thanks for saving my nose guys :)

A simple approach for standard stocks is to move your thumb to the side of the stock instead of wrapping it around. Works well

I had to do that with my Garand while testing loads off a rest, but I don't like it much for fast shooting offhand. It isn't a problem if I keep my hand up fairly high on the grip towards the receiver and I make sure to not climb way out on the stock with my cheek weld. Occasionally I forget in the heat of the moment and get bopped to remind me.;)

How people shoot with the 12" LOP Choate stocks, I have no idea.

Quick question for you
Did the DA Grizzly come with the ghost ring sights?
If so, how easy where they to remove? Did they simply screw off, or where they part of the barrel/reciever?

Yes it came with the ghost rings. The rear sight is screwed on, the front is brazed. To remove the front sight i heated it up with a propane torch till it was almost red and just pulled it off with some vise grips. After cooling off, the barrel will need to have any remaining braze sanded off and be repainted. Here is an updated pic of it with a few more goodies added :D

The latest iteration.

Simplicity personified.. :D

870 with 12 inch Dlask barrel, Mesa stock adapter, collapsible stock, Hogue forearm, single point breachers sling and smiley face magazine cap.

Nothing to snag on, short enough to tuck under your arm when transitioning to pistol, and makes a really loud "BOOM" :D :D

Usually use the pouch on the left side of the pic for keeping extra ammo when playing.
