Update...Armand sent out missing components and I have my tracking # for Canada post.:) Thanks again Armand for the quick correction of my order. Now I just have to hope that I don't need any of the specialized AR wrenches to install the quad rail.
 
Personally, I'd cut the OP a significant mount of slack as I've seen absolutley nothing malicious in his intent. Having publically broken up with a dealer after decades of loyal patronage, I recognize that you are putting yourself out there for criticism. As a first time caller, the knee can involuntarily convulse at a unexpected turn of evens.

Conversely, Armand was a soft shoulder to land on after recent disappointments else where for me. Has it run perfectly? No. But I have thus far not been left with anything other than cold hard steel in my hand. In my books, this places him at head and shoulder level, if not above and beyond, what's out there.
 
Based on this thread, My next gun purchase will be through Badger, if they have what I am looking for. Good response Badger.

I hope the OP has learned something from this thread.

first off, i just got back from a 2 day work trip and read what was written since i've been gone...good to see that someone can apologize and still be bashed endlessly...good bunch of guys here:rolleyes: Secondly, no i didn't ask for the thread to be deleted to protect me from embarrassment, i thought if badger's reputation was being potentially hurt by my post, it could be deleted if armand chose to. For those of you that stated remarks along the lines of giving me a break, thank you...the rest of you that can't let it go can kiss my a#$.

What it means is, if you really want to witness the definition of sh*t service. Have your goods shipped by the railway. Most inland terminals are required to either take 56 or 112 grain cars (big cylindrical thing with four wheels) so then the railway might be more willing to move grain (cause grain is not a profit making business for the railway :nest:).

So the big inland terminal agrees to the mighty beavers conditions and asks for 112 grain empties to be spotted for loading. I jump on said train to spot the empties and I can see 8 cars of the 112 are bad order - which is to say, they are not fit to be loaded with grain and must be fixed first... at a car shop which is usually 300 some miles away and will take at least another two weeks to get fixed.

So essentially, the agent asks for 112 and consistently gets less than asked, more often than not, a week late or more. So next time you read about the farmers whining about the railways and what not, it isn't bs - there is a deep resounding truth to all of it. Here's another juicy nugget, along the line I work, an inland terminal is being raped by CN. The grain elevator has been after CP for three years to service their plant; however, CP will only do it IF the elevator pays for the track into the plant... Meanwhile, Fred Greens bonus last year was twice the amount required to build track into the grain terminal. Figure that one out.

As for the last sentence, it's pretty obvious.

Personally I think his rep was helped at least in my eyes he made a mistake admitted it and fixed it that is exactly the kind of person I would want to deal with no issue making a mistake as long as it's corrected. :)

After all nobody is a 100% every time.
 
I have been in business for a long time and I have found that the mark of a good business is how they handle problems. When a customer phones me to complain the first words out of my mouth are "what can we do to fix the problem". Even if the customer never buys from me again I do want him to feel as if I have done everything I can to try to fix the problem.
In this case I think you got excellent customer service.
 
Why would you post this with out first talking to them???

Holy Crap...Have you read all the posts????? Everything has been EXPLAINED and DEALT with. I've apologized for jumping the gun in this thread and Badger has rectified the problem. Are you a high school graduate? Did you learn to read and comprehend what you are reading? I guess not, because you posted a question that has been answered long ago in this thread.

You aren't really portraying yourself as a calm cool individual here anymore. I can see why you got so upset and had to post it online for everyone to read. You should have quit at post 26 or whatever it was.
