You can get UMP instead and still do the H&K slap.
The Mx4, with a scope, is pretty effective out to a hundred meters, and automatic fire is effective out to 200 meters.
It has to do with the form they're imported in. I think the Turkish ones are imported in a sporterized form, and then all the naughty bits are added in state-side. (IIRC, the civilian SCARs follow the same way.) When Bush Sr. enacted that import ban in 1989, H&K just stopped making the HK94.I think German made HK MP5s are banned from import here in some way(yet GSG clones and Turkish made versions are fine...)
I'll take 2 MP5's, even if they have to be deactivated.
You can get a 9mm UMP in Canada - and not the one with the long barrel. I've seen them on the EE but they are not cheap. Not as much as a G36 but still expensive. You can also get the MP7 in Canada too. Also very expensive but it is out there.
It is india - where is india placed in the world's more corrupted country to do business? -84th! Even China is ahead of India.
MP5 has been around for a loooong time. Theirs are probably worn out and brand new ones are probably way more expensive than the beretta. I'm sure it's simply a cost/volume issue.
Nice we can't get either here. I would love to have an MP7.
