UPDATE: Rossi Ranch Hand Mares Leg

SKIING?!? I spent the day cleaning my squirrel guns... they're out, even though the fields are still full of snow. Goin' groundsquirrelin' next weekend soon as I'm off work. Lots of reports right across the province of sightings....

Oh, you meant updates for the Ranch Hand...

Hmmmmmm..... NOPE. Still nothin.

You've got a great post-count though.

:dancingbanana:

Will my post be more cool in a useless way if I put some dancing banana's in it?

:dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

pfft of course it will be cooler with dancing bananas.

sigh the thought of gophers is torture for me at this point. but at least I will have a new gun for it :D

1000 apologies to all who were offended. How was the weather in Whistler?
Not sure about was but this morning it's,
About 25cm's new overnight and 60 plus centimeters on the storm board, plus one in the valley, minus 7 in the alpine snowing moderately,Windy up top, AC under way, Solar coaster just opened to public as of 9:38.....going to be deep...:)

If anyone needs to bump up their post count ... well ... +1 for me! And even though my post count is low ... I'm already +1 on the Mares Leg list! Kinduv' a less talk more action guy :) You guys can fight over the .44, I'm goin' for the .357 to give my other ladies some company! Too much info in one post, damn, should've made two ;)

Ok - new topic seeing as we've obviously gone off the rails - if you shoot your mare's leg from a chairlift in the rain, will the recoil make the chair swing too much?

See, there's another great excuse for the mare's leg! Remember the James Bond movie "the spy who loved me" where he was skiing, and out of nowhere, these guys just started shooting at him? If he had been packing the mare's leg.... no problems.:stirthepot2:

Exactly. I'll tell you this- try it with a 375 ruger and you'd be off that chairlift and on your ass faster than you could say ''holy crap did -I- bring the wrong gun.."

lol If I didnt know better I think I would say we have lost our marbles waiting for these rifles....

Every time he shoots, the gun slides back a quarter to half inch in his left hand.

He better get a mouth guard!

lol I wonder why, notice how he holds it....

he wraps his fingers around the outside of the lever, and therefore really isnt holding it with that hand...

as for the update revolverrodger, I think he gave us one late last week did he not??? the price of $629... although I would like to know a solid landing date...

Uhg, I couldn't even watch that goon finish the six shots. Had to look away. Who holds a rifle like that? I hope he DOESN'T get a mouth guard so he has an incident that prevents him from posting more videos. What was up with the outfits? His mom should take him shopping to better stores.

Mikey: it's the internet, we're just havin fun and passin time waitin for these goofy things to come in. I've bought nicer guns, more expensive guns, guns that have taken way longer to come in, faster shootin guns, smaller guns, bigger guns, prettier guns, meaner guns.... but somethin about these has some of us actin up a little :p

Anyways, I am SO takin mine to the squirrel patch as soon as I get it. So Foxer, no, I don't actually give the squirrels guns, but being the generous fellow I am, do like to feed them pellets with nice stainless... lets just call them really heavy utensils.

The .357 looks pretty easy to control in that clip.

Thats what my poor arthritic fingers are hoping for.

I figure I can hold it a far cry better than the guy in the video, and I can also load up some light .38s.

Maybe if its still a PITA I can figure a way to wrap a leather thong around the grip that doesnt interfere with the lever.

I have a .357 revolver that I can't manage to shoot much anymore so its exciting to think that this might work for me, AND be gopher patch legal!
