Same here. That would make an inexpensive way to get into a non-restricted tacticool gun besides the VZ58. I like... a lot.

Very cool. I hope it will be a solid product, if so I think Ruger's sales are going to be climbing..here in Canada anyway. I just picked up a used 580 series stainless mini with a bunch of mags for $600, add a $250 stock like this and I'll have a nice little fun gun. Beats the $3000 plus I spent on my XCR with 2 bbls and Magpul add ons. (which my buddies Mini outshot 99% of the time)

What is the longest you've ever owned a particular rifle? It seems like you go through a lot of different ones.

longest is probably 5 years. I try and keep about about 6-8 in stock at all times.
Never owned a mini 14 before, but guys who own them seem to like em.

I am sure that you meant neutered normal capacity magazines. What kinda mags and where did you hear this?
