AR-15's

Updated pics......

Changed my 16inch because im planning on using some of the items for my 13.7 in build. So I added a leupold scope, burris rings, tango down bipod, Magpul PRS stock. And I have some more Magpul items to put on... just waiting for them to show up. Sling, sling adapters, grip, etc.

AP stripped receivers
Questar 11.5 match barrel
AAC Blackout 51T flashider
DD A1.5 rear sight, FA bolt and LPK
BCM gunfighter charging handle
Magpul BAD, ASAP and MS2
MOE furniture with extended buttplate
PMAG 30s

Looks like a simple but mean little thing, feel tight and light. we'll see how it shoots...

^^Nice - very similar to my pic posted above. How does it work for you? I just out 250 rounds through mine and it functions 100%. The DD rear sight and Aimpoint mount are nice units. I just have to stake the castle nut and I'm done.

Built it today so I dont know yet, it feels exactly like I wanted it to tho.
I'm missing the upper completion kit still, and need to fix the barrel, gas tube, flash hider and stock permanently.

I'll let you know.

It sure does look like yours, almost put the MVG too but that can wait... T1 is gonna end up there eventually too.. Great mind think alike they say ;)

hey fellow american! AR pistols are proof the govt is ran by idiots, if you can have a AR pistol without doing paper work, you should be allowed to have SBRs without paperwork.

Nice "pistol" you got... are you allowed 30rd mags in CA?

What kind of pistol grip and stock pad is that? (assuming it's non-adjustable)
Mag lock...?

It's a "saw" grip for an AR15, with a CAA cheek rest over an RRA pistol buffer tube.
The mag lock is called a bullet button. It looks like a regular mag release but doesn't allow you to depress it with your finger - but rather by way of a tool, or bullet tip.
California has crazy laws.
And PUREVIL, we can't have more than ten round mags in this state unless we owned them before the ban in '94
I am jealous of your short barreled rifles.

That's absolutely bizarre. I'm assuming that's the preferred alternative to permanently attaching your magazine to the rifle? Here's my 7" SBR (re-post). I suddenly have newfound appreciation for my collapsing stock, pistol grip and detachable magazines (even though they're typically limited to 5 or 10 rounds).

That's awesome, - beautiful gun!
Correct, in order to be allowed a pistol grip (considered an evil feature in California) the magazine must be permanently attached to the rifle. The bullet button satisfies the letter of the law. Otherwise it would have to be top loaded with a welded mag, or "featureless" meaning no collapsible stock no flash suppressor, no pistol grip. (like a Kel-tec SU16 or an M1A)
Good times.
How do you like the CAA grip? I have one too, and love it!

Thanks. How you guys cope in CA never ceases to amaze me...! I really like the CAA grip; I drink the Magpul kool-aid like everyone else, but for this setup the CAA just seemed to work better overall.

Ya cali has some almost the same strict rules as canada.

The only saving grace is that we don't need a license to own or transport, don't need to be a member of a club and are allowed short barreled handguns.
I'm sure there are people pushing for laws against all that too though.
