New SIG Arrivals...

EDIT: Thanks.

I don't remember them being aluminum but that's what it said on the Hogue website when I checked. SIG doesn't specify on their website.

I'm not at the office to check and don't think we have any left in stock now to check either. We have more coming though.

I just bought the last one this morning but not sure if it's at your office. :p

Any ETA on the new arrivals?

Looks like G-10 is not aluminum.....

Hogue Extremeseries grips are machined from Aerospace grade 6061 T6 Aluminum, G-10, Titanium or old world Damascus steel.

Hey Mark

I am waiting on the hicap mags to be welded to 10 rounds for my shipment to go out. You guys do that on prem? Sounds like a more durable process than rivets is this why you do it?

Thanks

Rivets don't fit in the magwell so they wouldn't work.

Are these grips aluminum?...

Thanks.

The grips are Hogue G10 G-mascus in their Piranha pattern.

Hey Mark, I ordered an STX 1911 April 30th. Any chance these will be arriving anytime soon?

Thanks.

bearmaz... I've been "retired" for about the last year or so, and at this point have little information on day-to-day operations. Scott runs everything now and he handles all of the supplier orders, so he would have the best information on order status and what kind of delivery times are being experienced from any particular supplier. Derek handles customer order processing.

With respect to SIG products, my understanding is that SigArms is having a very hard time keeping up with demand and that (in many instances) they are missing their delivery estimates... but Scott would have a better handle on that than I do. If you have any question relating to an order then you should contact Derek or Scott directly.

Email them at:

Derek@Questar.ca

or

Scott@Questar.ca

Hope this will help...

Sorry I just saw other people had asked u questions directly.

Derek was unable to assist with any information. I'll try Scott, thanks.

No need to apologize :)

I try to help when I can but I'm not on these forums much anymore and so it can take quite a while for me to even see any questions that are posted. Sometimes I can answer people's questions and if I see them I will try to do so, but Scott runs things now and he's the guy to talk to.

I know he's quite swamped running the company so he rarely gets time to check the forums... that's why I suggest that anyone who has a question email him directly. With his schedule it can still take a few days to get a reply but he does reply to his emails.
