Anyone see one of these in person yet?

Restricted? Pity, nice little rifle/pistol ... whatever .. lol.

I wonder about the strength of the thumbhole, I've been skeptical about them and always think they would break if you look at them wrong :D

But I'd wouldn't mind owning one in WMR if it is available, would make a nice back packer rifle.

I saw and handled something like that in Dicks Sporting Goods in Miami, Florida!
Only it was a revolver/rifle by Taurus (?) that shot six .410 shotgun shells OR .444 ammo.
I asked the guy "what the hell would you use this for" and he said "strictly home defence".

EDIT* I actually found a picture of it, only the one I handled had a black synthetic stock.

Thats a sticky situation. I think the decision would simply come down to the mood of the perticular RCMP inspection officer on that given day.

Still pretty neat though.

it will be/is restricted because it uses the same receiver as a handgun

I believe they reclassified the rossi riot shotgun to restricted based on the same principle

I don't get it... its an eight shooter, with a Pic rail for a flashlight, and a tacblack stock, but its an eight shooter.

Sorta like ya put three guns in a blender and see what comes out... I think enough's enough with these ridiculous marketing tangents. Almost as bad as the Mossberg 'chainsaw handle' shotgun.

Weird stuff. What possible use could one have for an abortion like that. Cool though to have it sitting in yur locker. Be a bit of a conversation piece.

It is restricted because it is a handgun that simply has a full wood stock, but the key is that stock is removable and not an integral part of the receiver.

The Buckmark receiver has a butt stock as an integral part of the frame.

Similar to a shotgun adding a pistol grip. The stock does not change the classification as the receiver is still a non restricted shotgun receiver.

Once a handgun always a handgun. It can not be reclassified I don't think.

not true. most shot guns have removable stock and you could swap it for a pistol grip then it becomes restricted if OAL becomes less than 26.

no logic behind this gun being restricted (besides rcmp twisted logic). not the first time that a rifle uses a pistol receiver or other way around. this ruling is BS. and it being a restricted had kept me from buying it.
