Thureon Defense Carbines--still a go?

A dealer here was working with Thureon Defense to
import these carbines. I'm sorry I forget who, but I
am grateful for their efforts.

Is there any news? The owner, Andy, knows we want them,
so I am hoping things might be progressing.

I dont remember a dealer or distributor working to get these here, but it would be a good idea, as I would definately be interested in one.
 
I've been waiting for news as well, since there really hasn't been much said on the status of these in a while. If a sample has been sent in, I assume part of the problem might possibly be the RCMP firearms lab, who seem to have been dragging their heels on classifying new guns as of late. Just look at how long it's been taking with the classifications for the SCAR, ACR, and AKDAL MKA 1919, just to name a few. They're looking for reasons to restrict, or preferrably (in their eyes) prohibit these designs just in time for the killing of the registry.:mad:

I spoke to them a year ago, detailed my preference, and was ready to order, but never heard back.

I suspect that importation has been made impossible.

There was or maybe still is the one available in the EE. If I remember correctly, it was Questar that brought it in for the guy. So the rifle should all ready have a FRT number. Unfortunately the one in the EE was priced a couple bucks out of my tax bracket due to all the work he had to go through to get it here. I imagine if a dealer was to pick up the brand and sell it, it would be more competitively priced.

It was more than that. And then last week, the clouds opened and Thurion Defence came to Canada.

We Have ALL.

Dealers are first to the punch.

Interesting timing on this post. A leak? Ha!
