I Think I have a Badger Problem.

I hit a badger with a 1988 Buick Park Avenue. He got up shook himself off and wandered off in to the ditch. These are tough animals. My dad always used the 243 on badgers.

Do you think Chuck Norris could deal with it? If not, too bad you're so far away. My attack pug could do it for you, but it shore wouldn't be purty!:D

LOL..... " ewwww what a crazy fu@k, look at the honey badger it don't care"

ok... on a serious note, 80 liters of water and some CO from a 1978 chevy pick up and still nothing.... perhaps he has moved on. Look at the size of the hole.

he probably just drank the 80 liters of water:p

I know you are not going to believe this, and I wouldn't either except I saw it with my own eyes......but anyway about 15 years ago I was mule deer hunting in WY and we were walking though some sage brush and the guide saw a badger and he ran it down and pinned it to the ground with a stick and then picked it up by the scruff of the neck....I took some pictures and he let it go. If I can find the prints I will scan it and post it.

It was pretty funny at the time, but I tell you that badger was some mad and if he could have scratched that guy it would be have been ugly.

. They are nocturnal and can clean out a golfer colony in no time.

For God's sake don't shoot any. Live trap them if you must and I'll set up a breeding facility on our farm. Think of all the great wildlife habitat that would be freed up if there were no more golf courses contaminating the landscape!

I've had luck with a .17hmr, watched a friend get one with mach2, these were out in the open during day from about 25-50 meters though.
Place it good, problem goes away.

a truck with a water tank on the back with a small pump and a shotty with OO.
I'd try filling it back up with dirt. wait and check.

If you are positive what whole he is in take a truck with a water tank and start filling the hole, he will come out for sure, just be ready. When growing up on the farm this is how we used to do them in. When they would come up for air a long handled shovel would finish them off.

The term mad as a wet hen has nothin' on a badger that's been rousted. They are agressive like a musk rat, but about 50x the size.

0H, and don't try using a 5 gal pail to drown them out. Borrow the farmer's water tank, go to town, spend a dollar, and drop 185 gallons down the hole. If he's in there, he'll be on his way out

Was shooting gophers with a crossbow last weekend and spotted a badger watching me from his hole, nailed him square in the forehead at 15 yards with a rubber blunt! the bolt bounced off but did the job, pretty sure it broke his skull and liquefied the brain!
