I think it may be the fact thats its green tip , which i believe has the steel core penetrator .. ive also been waiting on this stuff as i believe Winchester markets a 223 version with the same capabilities yet no one seems to be able to get it either..

If you actually go into the site a little deeper you will find that the price they charge for 1000 rounds (although they are out of stock at the moment) is $299.50 - Not $388 plus shipping and taxes - not even close to that....

Yes, I saw that. The $300 in the US will be at least $350 when shipped up here, more if UPS is used. You would pay taxes on the $300 + shipping when it gets here, too.

Is the US price cheaper? Yes, but not by nearly as much as you make it out to be. Throw in the cost of an export permit and our dealers are not doing as badly as you think.

Pretty much with every major retailer in Canada in the gun and ammo business pay X for product and charges us Y at retail. Pretty much every single item to do with guns is less expensive in the USA, not just 223 ammo.

Are you under the impression that Canadian dealers pay the same price as USA dealers? FS
 
It's called market.

Canadian retailers , can only buy 10 of producy X the price will be higher, than the US counter part will buy 100 and the price will be Y.

Also in the US gun stores are every where = Competition

Here it's different.
 
Do they sell that particular brand though the green tip stuff .. ive been looking everywhere for m855 penetrator and cannot seem to find it anywhere either . however ive seen fmj , hp and frangible .. seems odd.
 
"...Similar pricing please..." You will never see the prices seen Stateside, here. Tracers nor AP cannot be imported either.
