Got my new (to me)tool a couple days ago...

Old lady but she seems fine. I probably won't have a chance to fire-try her but for some reason I trust her :confused:
A good cleaning and she'll be like new.
Not a high threat environment anyway.

Take off the gas tube and lower handguard and let it sit overnight in a fuel drum. Save yourself some scrubbing.

If that mag has a Circle 10 and a metal floorplate it's likely GTG. If it has a plastic floorplate ditch it for a full metal mag.
 
Please post an "after clean" picture, If its a milled receiver than she should work as expected.... Romanian?

x2 on the Circle 10 - the all metal mags are less of a problem.
 
Can I ask just what it is you do to be issued something like that, in that shape?

looks like she's been around the globe a few times, and probably seen and done some serious sh*t.
 
it looks as if the front sight post is fully enclosed .. and the gas tube looks very familiar..
shes a chicom

( If the bore, action and gas tube are in good condition you can trust her... if they look anything like the outside of the gun, then i wouldnt pull trigger on it )

+1 on what you're doing to be issued something in that condition ?
