Here's my pet load in my Rem 700P when I was doing my job with nice steady hands in a stiff wind.

These were my 2 best 5 shot groups, because I was being heckled for the 3 shot groups I was posting. :jerkit:

Believe it or not these all came from a Bone Stock Stevens 200 in .223 @ 100m, with some handloads at of course.

Don't worry the flame suit is on so go ahead.

And the best of the 3 shot groups I had collected.

Here is one fired from my Savage model 12 LRPV in 204 ruger.

Was shot from 200 yards. It measures 0.435" out to out. So about a 0.231 center to center.

Here are some of my better long range shots. All with the little 204.

The 500 yard group was about 2.5". 1/2 MOA all the way out to 500 yards with a little 20 cal is not bad at all!

Nice effing group!! No vertical at all. If only you managed to dope the wind a little better that would be a one holer! I'd say you have the perfect load for that rifle. Nice going.

guess i will play too.. still working on my wind dopeing, but the 5-20km/h sure didnt help any haha..

ill blame the low one on me,, but i still count it in the group

Here's one from my M700 Classic in 300 Savage. This rifle shoots ½ moa consistently with this load, but this group is a zinger.

My new Norma Mag is doing well, also:

For a pure hunting rifle, I am happy with 3-shot groups, but for a varmint or target rifle, 5 shots are better. Eagleye.

One got away 22 Rim fire

Always that 5th one gets away on me
Rem 40x 22 rimfire Lapua center X 100 yards

I don't bother getting too excited about recording good groups, as they are only really a tool for load development as I am a score shooter,

This is a 5-shot group with a 6BR, Krieger barrel and Berger 105 VLD's (old ones)

load development for seating depth....

Here is one looking for powder load.... I am always pleased to see a clear trend pattern rather than one good group out of 5.

Ronnie,

I wish I could be a fly on SteveB's wall every time he sees that group.

...(He sold Ron that rifle without ever having fired a round down its new Krieger barrel)

8 twist 223 Tikka

This 5 shot group is from my initial tests of my Tikka Varmint
223.... 8 twist @ 100 yds. I found it's sweet spot for the 69 gr scenars at 24 gr of AA2230/WSR...1875 OAL...400 out to out
....I've just finished testing my first run of 80 gr A-Maxes.(thankx Jerry ;))..same amount of Varget powder 24 gr is the best of the preliminary loads..little more testing to do.( got to get the pics downloaded) almost the same results to start with!!...annnd..before ya get all set to poke my Lyman, ;)....the battery was dead in my digital mike :D

I think he doesn't drink much over it now :D

Shouldn't we be saying "WENDY's" 6BR?

Testing my new Shilen/Savage 223 FTR with prototype Bipod, new powder, new bullet. Prefit Select Match barrel. Barrel had seen over 1700rds when that group was shot.

My Savage 93 MkII shooting SK Rifle Match at 100yds. About 5/8" on a reg basis if I can dope the winds.

500m with my last Shilen Savage with a prefit select match barrel in 260AI, 140gr Berger VLD, H4831SC, CCI BR2 and Win brass

Then there is the very nice group I shot with my First 6.5 Mystic Savage F open rig that is in my banner below (345yds). See 6mmBR.com Gun of the Week #75

Some fun stuff over the years.
