norinco 1911

Exactly! One thing's is for sure...they are consistent. Consistent in messing up phone-in and online orders!!! You would think by now they would have stepped up and beefed up the way they take and process orders. But I get the same excuses all the frickin time- "we are extremely busy...we ship out 30-40 orders a day....blah blah blah".

Really?! That's not even the point! The point is- be more organized and return customers calls and emails promptly! This is the exact reason why they hired a "call taker" and an "order-taker" in the first place! Still they lose paperwork and such!

The impression I got from Armand was...he doesn't mind pissing off a few people here and there...as long as NEW orders keep coming in. His exact words to me "oh well".

d:h:

this is exactly why i didn't post anything about the poor customer service i received from badger. Cause i knew there'd be the "oh you must be a whiner" replies. I don't post after you saying that you're a kiss-ass, so why can't i get the same respect?

All i know is that i had got terrible service. Plain and simple. I'm sure there are people who had better service, but my point was that if badger is so wonderful, how come everytime i come on here i see the same post ("...ordered a 2 months ago and have sent e-mails etc and gotten no response...") from different individuals?

I don't see this same recurring theme from customers of other stores, why is that?

8 Neg posts for badger on this thread alone, you sound a little obsessed. maybe you'd get better results if you made a sign and picketed outside their store

So heres an update. I talked to Armand today and he said there are none in stock and nobody else in Canada had any. When I first placed the order I was told they were in stock, it took a month just to tell me they have none. Anyways I cancelled the order and phoned Marstar and they have them in stock and should have one at my front door in 10 days. I also got an invoice and a tracking number sent to my email. Im really not impressed with Badger, they lied to me and wasted alot of my time! I definately wont be ordering anything from them ever again. How are these guys still in buisness? They make all these excuses about being so busy with moving and whatnot, if they are really that busy they shouldn't be taking orders that they can't proccess. So to anybody wondering if they should order from Badger, don't waste your time its not worth it!

epic 1911

The truth is we called him over the weekend and said we only had the 1911a1c, but we would for the trouble sell him a 5" 1911 Para for cost and also offerd a SAM 1911 at cost for our mess up!

When we talked today , he said he was no longer wanting!

And we never took his cash during all this while we unpacked and looked for a 5" for him!

Easy to jump on the band wagon!

Half a story again!!

And yet.... still waiting for my grips that I was told were on the way 3 months ago.

Last year I bought a Norc M4 online from Badger. I phoned back a few days later to complain that the transfer process had not yet been started with the feds.

Armand jumped all over me telling me how important customer service is and I should not complain if there is a short delay. Within minutes the lady who was supposed to do the transfer sent me an email and aplogised for overlooking my file.

My take on that was that they are all good people who care and try hard but are either understaffed or have poor admin systems.

The deal went down smoothly and he suggested a different mag because the Norc ones are not very good. Price was very good.

Since then I have sent a number of emails asking about the Norc 1911 9mms he said were coming "soon". I usually get a response within minutes from his smartphone.

I can put up with almost anything so long as I think the other party is honest, trying and communicating.

I have had better service at Marstar. But it is in our collective best interests to have other dealers growing their business, too.

I hope to buy more guns at Badger. I can sympathize with some of their problems, and they do seem to be trying.

Who to believe?

I guess everyone can decide for themselves.

I see no reason for the OP to lie.

So im a lier? what exactly did I lie about? Yes you did offer those guns but I wanted a Norinco 1911 a1 Sport model which at the time I ordered was told that they were in stock and also the website said in stock. The reason why I am pissed is because it took a month to tell me there was none in stock when I could have been ordering it from somewhere else. I don't appreciate being jerked around and being forced to wait while you figure your #### out. What do you mean by half story? what have I left out?

Armand STOP YOUR LIES!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! YOU ARE UNBELIEVEABLE PAL!!!! QUIT TAKING PHONE AND ONLINE ORDERS IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT! d:h:

More awesome service by badger. He lied when my thread was posted about their terrible service, said I called all rude to his staff when I only ever called twice and was polite both times. Of course, he will soon have this thread deleted , he wont be having anything critical about him on CGN.

There is reason for anger and mistrust for allot of customers including myself but lets understand some important facts;

1 Badger might have miss-represented quantity and delivery time and caused considerable delays but to my knowledge has never "stole" money , he has always promptly returned / refunded the cash.

2 this is a great thing having a forum as long as we stay civil and do our best to inform others about our dealings with businesses on CGN both good and bad - I have aired my bad dealings with Badger and hope that others can learn from my situation. I personally am glad to hear other opinion on both sides but believe there are a few that need to evolve past comments like "whiner" for those who choose to air complaints and "suck-up" for those who defend a company's reputation.

I have watched this with great interest and hope this tread continues , not to bash Badger but to air complaints as well as any good dealings. It would serve company's that have this problem to learn and grow ----- in interest they might look at having a poll on customer satisfaction to see where they stand in the on-line community

Thanks Epic for starting this and giving as much info as you did , it was interesting seeing your situation unfold.

Amen to this brother! I'm glad someone like yourself remains gracious and collected despite all the spiteful comments expressed by displeased Badger customers like myself.

But it is so hard to hold back on anger when the owner himself continually lies and dish out the same shameful pretexts over and over again! Just man up...and say "sorry...how can I make it better for you?" But no! He gives the same BS excuses!

Here's my advice to all you future buyers from Badger: If you live in the SK area, by all means, drop by their shop and buy a gun or two. I'm 99.9% sure you will be treated like royalty. But for the rest of you folks that wanna place an order via online means or phone-in....read over this thread and the other threads about this outfit and THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ORDER. And if you do place an order....ask lots of questions- don't leave any grey area before you hang up that phone! And by all means- GET AN INVOICE NUMBER OR ANY KIND OF REFERENCE NUMBER!

Peace out!

I understand your frustration

"Again, at this point all I can do is apologize for any inconveniences that may have been caused. I have mentioned on more than one occasion the reasons for the mix ups and in such cases have done what I could to resolve the issues in hopes of retaining/garnering customer satisfaction. I will reiterate one more time and one more time only. This move and the past few months of business growth have been very taxing and we've found it somewhat difficult to grow at the same pace. With the majority of that behind us we intend to do our very best to address the needs of our customers in as timely a fashion as possible. We are not miracle workers, but with the majority of our paperwork (those of you that know guns know that there is tons of that!) sorted out from the move we have placed our greater focus on our inventory management system to avoid such mix ups. I can understand your frustration, but please understand our own frustrations when our inventory system is reporting that we did in fact have the requested item in stock, yet we could not find it, AND we have the RCMP doing their thing today and tomorrow. Regardless, I know our own internal issues are of no concern to our customers, and it is on my shoulders to take this small town sporting goods shop to the level expected for the volume increase that comes from opening your doors to the coast-to-coast Canadian enthusiasts that CGN has amassed over the past 9 years. We will do our best moving forward, our inventory system and physical inventory itself is now in order, and it has always been our intention to deliver the quality of service we would expect ourselves as consumers. Unfortunately sometimes as most of us know, forces beyond our control can make this difficult."

Sorry for any inconvienence

Armand I'm sure you are a nice guy in person, otherwise you wouldn't be in business for this long. However, with that said, with growth comes more responsibility- more responsibility means more staff needed...with more staff on deck, proper TRAINING is extremely important, not to mention handling customer service issues. Because to be honest with you- the lady (I won't mention her name) that takes orders- SUCK! She persistently lies and is extremely disorganized!

As the owner of your company, even if you are no longer involved in the order taking end of your business, you have to keep up to date on what's going on in your shop. When I spoke to you on the phone- I presented you with my problem and you told me "order issues" are not your department and that I should call back to speak to your staff. Fair enough, BUT your staff didn't know how to rectify the situation and instead of dealing with the situation, continually lied to me and avoided my phone calls! What kind of crap is that?! That's just poor poor poor customer service!

Hey I'm not asking for perfection....I just want to be treated fairly which I never did. You guys were super fast to take my money, and when it came time for customer service you provided me with NONE!

"Half story"- these are indeed his famous words!

Anyway, Epic, good luck on your fresh new order from the other guys! Thanks for starting this thread. I've been holding back for a long time. The headache and the runaround I got from Badger really got to me. I've never been jerked around by a company like they have in every way.

Please let us know when you get your new 1911. Hope you receive it shortly so you can start shootin!

Cheers mate!:canadaFlag:

From what I read Badger has more than tried to make up for the errors during your order.what I see now is you just being a ####, if you don,t want to deal with Badger thats fine we all got your drift from your last 20 posts but this online bashing and slanderous accusations is not the actions of a man of good character...

Just telling the truth sir. ;)

I rest my case.

I couldn't have said it better myself. People deserve to know what they are getting themselves into before they order something. Hopefully this thread stays up so that future customers can read it and know what to look out for.
