Loaded and bullets :( I went to bass pro in Calgary and they didn't even stock either!?!

I've ordered the Frontier bullets before from Marstar but anyone know of a local supplier who might have them or a mail order place where shipping isn't quite as steep?

Try Mystic Precision (banner ads and PM) or Henry Nierychlo (Budget Shooter Supply, banner ads) for bullets. Henry also sells ammo, but shipping is usually a killer unless you buy a large bulk lot.

I don't know what you are looking for regarding ammo, but every CT and Wally World I have been in seems to have .303 Winchester Super-X on the shelf.

I have in the past asked gun stores to order in a case or two especially for me.

It IS getting harder to find on the shelf, especially when there's so many hunters being lured by this week's newest, greatest, ###iest, bestest-smelling, super-duper-short MAGNUM with extra fibre calibres.

Can't blame the shops for trying to cash in on market trends, and I guess .303BR isn't "cool"...

Damn, I am so glad I will never be cool!

:)

Yeah i love my LE, does everything i want it too, hunting or paper!

I'll check out CT for stock, it'll be good to have a box or two on hand if i need it. I usually reload so if i buy i like to go for the Remington UMC stuff, cases seem to hold up a bit longer and a bit of personal preference. Haven't seen that around for a while :(

I'll check out the recommended links, thanks guys!

Heretic Dave: That is interesting that you mentioned that Bass Pro was out, cause I was there last Monday and they had a whole bunch of the Remington UMC 303BR on the shelf. It was a bit hidden behind some boxes of 308 WIN, but it was there.

I second this. Although it's damn expensive at $29.99 a box. When they first opened it was $19.99!

With the June 15% discount at LeBaron's.....:yingyang:....it's just about $21/box now.....:)...it's the one time I'm actually considering buying a fair bit of factory .303 (in 180-grain, mind you ! )....

MFS makes 303Br, and so does that Serbian company (who also make 303Br blanks) Can't recall the name, but they come in blue boxes. Same price as 308.

I wish someone would just bring in a 45 gallon drum of Prvi Brass, I know it would sell. Actually, the bullets in the Prvi 174 FMJ load are pretty darned good too, I'd buy a shirt load (they'd be cheaper than the Hornady's I load now).

my friend I kicked and screamed to the importer to bring in both cases and brass they hummed and hahed and then said they had no space to warehouse it. please cal and email bell and chew their ears about getting it in maybe more calls will free up space.
