The SKS were stamped with a “306" inside a triangle, NOT "26"! Please, anyone have some ideal, does it made in factory 26?

Try posting in the "Red Rifles" Forum that covers the SKS, AK, VZ and other Combloc designs. You'll probably get more interest and cogent responses. This forum runs more toward AR-15s and SIGs, not milsurp Chinese rifles, hence the "Black Rifle" Forum. ;)

First of all, your SKS isn't Black, nor is it Main (it is however Red). That is a factory stamp, looks like 306. These stamps are looked at in detail at yooperj dot com. Most Chinese Army (as opposed to civillian lookalikes) SKS's are well built solid and surprisingly accurate. That stamp pretty much guarantees that it's the real thing.

It has to be moved by a mod, you can't do it yourself.

There's nothing wrong with your SKS. It's one of the recent imports of military Factory 306 guns. The only issue is that it's not what what advertised.

Still in business. He's advertising 1400 rd cases of Polish M43 that I wouldn't mind having some of, I just can't bring myself to roll the dice.

I wouldn't worry about the factory number, I'd worry about paying $169 for something that is advertised as $149.

And I wouldn't worry much about the 'early chinese SKS...26...etc' vs. a 306 concerning collector value. It's just a SKS.

I have 2 Chinese one has the "306" the other i bought from Marstar and has a "625" stamp on it, both are Chinese Military Models and both have the "Type 56" Chinese symbols on them and both Rifles are amazingly accurate! no complaints at all here.
