It was mentioned that there a few TRGs and .300 Win Mag in use in Canada by DND..

We contacted several authorities and :

"checked with project staffs and they informed me that there is not intention of looking at .300 Win Mag."

Relevant units at Gagetown and Ottawa advise not in use or contemplated.

As Defence contractors, it is our busnes to know the calibres in use in Canada. It continues to amaze at the misinformation posted about the military.

Regards,

Peter

longshot, thanks. Generally we do not comment on military matters, but some statements need to be addressed.

The nicest and one of the rare compliments paid to me, was by an exhead of the Master Sniper Cell, now an RSM at Brigade: "You're the only person promoting a product(.338LM) that never BS'd us".

Regards,

Peter

I fixed it for you:p

I heard that they were being issued Stevens actions in Choate stocks, chambered in 260... in addition to katanas and toe socks. But, that it was only the super secret units that were getting them. They probably couldn't tell you that though...

It's true! Toe socks make you stealthier, my secret ninja friend told me so!

Wow, this is quite the length taken to prove a point don't you think?

I don't know if you've noticed this yet but three quarters of what is said on here is opinionated and bias. Of the seventy-five percent half of it is completely false.

But my point is imagine if everyone posted a seperate thread to prove they were right? This forum would be completely full.

Thanks Redshooter, some appreciate the truth. We are in the busimess of selling military ammo and sought the truth, while other posters put equal effort into posting BS.

Regards,

Peter

Why would someone say something that "they knew wasnt true?" i dont understand that!
I find allot of highly experienced shooters can be very boastful! But it is all about approach. We all are in this sport because we love it! Lets not beat up others because of misinformation.

dhunter, have spent a lot of time with top soldiers, some of whom are great friends.
I was actually challenged to "ask around" to determine existence of the non-existent, so I did. It's part of my business!

Tonight am attending a banquet for the Great Gritain Rifle Team to Canada at the North Barracks of the Citadel. You should see these fellows shoot, with many posting higher scores than FClass shooters and yes, we have some good FClass Shooters; Armen Papazyian, Ken Fergeson, Ron Hilchey, Wendy Reid, Ron Mason, others.

Was pleased to contribute and raise funds for this fine and most interesting group comprising the best TR team in the world.

Next month it's off to the Canadian International Sniper Concentration to meet friends.

Regards,

Peter

Man you must have some interesting coversations!
It would be awesome to meet those shooters!
A guy could pickup all sorts of good ideas and shooting habits.
One of the biggest benifts of hanging around really talented shooters is You can pick up years and years of applied shooting experience!
It can shorten "my" learning curve dramatically!
Thanks for the response to my post.

Imagine if everyone just sat back and ignored the biased and false information, rather than help everyone by posting the facts. :)

Good stuff, Peter! Thanks for the update.

Actually its quite the opposite for me.The truly elite are very humble.Usually its the ones who think they are elite but in reality aren't there yet are the noisy ones.

I can see where you're coming from. All I'm saying is that this forum is full of bias, unsupport opinions, and bs. We could have an entire section of this forum devoted to the cause.
