When my grandfather passed away, I inherited his old Mossberg 400G 12ga. He had bought it new in the 70's and it saw a lot of use and it showed. Shortly after I got it, I replaced the 30" full-choked barrel with a new 28" one with a few screw in chokes, allowing steel and skeet shooting.
I refinished the stock and used tru-oil on it and replaced the hard rubber pad with a Kick-eze. Recently I picked up a camo slug barrel for it, and blasted the barrel, mag tube and gloss black receiver, then applied arma coat over it. Grandpa would likely chuckle and shake his head...
